Hi! I’m Beth, and caring for children and families has been at the heart of my work for more than 30 years. I began working with children as a teenager and have cared for newborns through teens as a nanny, household manager, educator, and family support professional.
I hold an associate degree in Early Childhood Development and a bachelor’s degree in Applied Studies. I’m also a certified Texas Special Education EC–12 and ELAR 4–8 teacher and a Grief Recovery Method Specialist. My experience includes early childhood education, special education, one-on-one learning support, infant and toddler care, and helping children who need a little extra patience, structure, or creativity to thrive.
I spent 14 years with one family as their nanny and household manager, beginning when the children were young and remaining through college. I helped manage the household staff, schedules, appointments, activities, errands, pets, vendors, travel preparation, and the countless details that keep a busy home running smoothly. I also assisted with preparations for in-home events and political fundraising gatherings.
I’m very comfortable with babies and toddlers, including feeding, routines, developmental activities, learning through play, potty training, and helping families prepare for a new baby. With older children, I enjoy homework help, organization, outings, life skills, and finding ways to make learning fun.
I’m also happy to step beyond traditional nanny duties. Need groceries picked up, an appointment handled, a closet organized, laundry moving, a repair person met, or a household project brought under control? That’s my wheelhouse. I have a knack for turning organized chaos into calm.
Most importantly, I listen first. Every family has its own routines, priorities, personalities, and parenting style. My goal is to learn what works for your family and become someone you can genuinely depend on. I’m looking forward to finding the right fit!
