It ended up being one of my college majors as an early education specialist. I have experience in daycare centers as volunteers with my prior church . As well as a lead teacher for 1 and 2 year old for about 3 years ! I’ve worked in the PICU setting with 8-14 year olds as well for two years. Hello! My name is Kyra! I'm a 20-year-old soon to be college student looking for a change in pace. I moved to San Antonio in September 2024! I have three solid years of childcare and elder care experience combined. I've always had a soft spot for babies and children, along with a passion for helping others. I was in a college-level Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) program during my last year of high school, and I've worked two patient-centered healthcare jobs since. My personal experience includes caring for my mother, who has Multiple Sclerosis (MS), and caring for my niece (who has austim) and two nephews (who both have ADHD) during summers and weekends when they were all under 12. I'm now looking for something more hands-on as I begin pursuing my degree in radiography. I'm thrilled to gain more experience and take every opportunity to learn and love

I have 5 kiddos myself age 8, 5,3,1, and 9months Two are autistic level 2 and 3 and one with adhd Having patience is definitely in my books and multitasking. Having children on the spectrum who are non verbal you learn a lot especially about the hidden cues they give and I have taken classes to better educate myself and what I can do better and earned some certificates. Children especially babies to toddlers love being around me due to the love I give off and calmness, I treat and take care of every child as if they were my own. I also respect any wishes and rules that each family has. I am here to help in any way I can wether it’s entertaining the children for parents to have a date night or watch children while work has to get done , or be that over night sitter cause sleep is needed.
