My experience working with children began 34 years old when my mom signed me and my sister up for a babysitting class at the Red Cross. I began caring for children of family friends and other families within the community. By college age, I found a love for volunteering for various community organizations that offered services for teens, homeless community, and my church. Caregiving comes natural for me because my parents and family members were always giving in some way or form to others. From a young age, I learned to be unselfish and see the needs of others. That translated into my adulthood and professional career. Last year I added senior care to services I can provide. I come from a musical family so I enjoy music and arts in my spare time. I also enjoy spending time and attending the games of my 10 year godson who is involved in several sports.

Hi! My name is Madison and I am currently in my second semester of nursing prerequisites at Surry CC. I am planning on getting my ADN and then transferring and getting my BSN. I absolutely love children and I am very excited to work with them in the future. I most likely won't be able to sit on most Tuesdays and Thursdays since I have classes all day.
