Hi! I’m Ena’je I’m a reliable and nurturing childcare provider with 10 years of experience caring for children from infants to school-aged kids. I was raised in an at-home daycare environment and have worked with many families over the years, which has helped me build a strong foundation in child development and care. My caregiving approach is Montessori-inspired, focusing on independence, hands-on learning, and respecting each child’s pace and interests. I encourage age-appropriate activities that support fine motor skills, problem-solving, creativity, and practical life skills in a calm, structured, and engaging environment. I also have experience supporting families with school pick-up and drop-off, including direct school pick-ups, kiss-and-ride, and walking children to and from bus stops. Safety, punctuality, and consistency are always a top priority for me. I enjoy helping with homework, guiding creative play, organizing educational activities, and providing a warm, attentive presence. I adapt easily to each family’s routine and each child’s unique personality. Clear and open communication with parents is very important to me. I keep families informed about their child’s day and make sure instructions and preferences are followed closely. I’m patient, responsible, and dependable, and I truly enjoy building meaningful relationships with both children and parents. I look forward to being a trusted and supportive caregiver for your family.

I was incredibly lucky to have Ena’je’s support and help during my 2 year old and 1 year old’s back-to-back ear tube surgery in Fairfax, while my husband was away on a work trip. It was a lot to go through and juggle, especially being 4 months’ pregnant! I had never met Ena’je in person beforehand, but as soon as she arrived and saw my 2 year old having a tantrum at a brand new doctor’s surgery, she immediately assisted and settled him on her lap. He took to her straight away and felt very comforted. Ena’je looked after both of of my boys in the playroom while I had to address some matters with the doctors, and she was in charge of the baby’s recovery process while the toddler was being operated on. The baby was also very settled with her and I was so relieved to have hired her that day! I couldn’t have done it without her. 2 days later, she looked after the baby while he was out of daycare recovering from the surgery, just so that I could go to work for a few hours and not fall behind. She fed him, put him down for his nap and played with him. It was so obvious to me that she knew what she was doing and was well-qualified for the job. She is kind, patient, nurturing and professional. I will definitely be hiring her again without a shadow of a doubt. Thank you so much Ena’je. You are such a blessing!

"We absolutely LOVE Isa — our family was so fortunate to have found her through UrbanSitter. I'm a first-time mom, and it took me a long time to find a full-time nanny I could trust to care for our sweet infant boy. Our boy connected with her immediately, and we couldn't have asked for anyone else to care for him. Her calming presence was also perfect for parents like us who work from home. We feel so lucky UrbanSitter helped us find someone who has truly become a part of our family."

"I was so stressed about finding a part-time nanny for my 14-month-old son, who has moderate separation anxiety and hadn't been left with anyone but family before, but we were both immediately at ease in Buhay's presence. Her empathy and commitment to understanding child development are apparent in every interaction I've witnessed between her and my toddler. I feel very lucky to have found her."

"Erna watched our now 5 year old daughter and 3 year old son for a few years. She is punctual, responsible, honest, and playful. What we appreciated most was that she was thoughtful in ensuring that we had a little break; for example, when the kids were clingy, she was able to divert their attention with games or songs or walks to the park. We felt very comfortable leaving our kids with Erna because of her caring nature and experience that spans a decade (including being a live-in nanny)."
