Working with Children has always brought me happiness, Teaching to maintain Hygiene(If its a concerns and parents want obviously), as well as teaching good manners, math and anything that needs to be taken care of, always be thankful. Spanish speaking, don’t mind teaching at all. Love being able to be there for your kids when you are not available, keeping them comfortable and distracted I have 2 beautiful nieces 2 and 4 year old niece that gives me strength and passion to love kids even more and appreciate those mom what they do for them. (I know its not easy!) Few days/hours a week I give my sister some time off for me to be with my nieces, for her to rest or do any errands which she loves including date nights since both my nieces where born, just loved being a present aunt. And they seeing me grow with them as we taught them about my pregnancy. They were so thrilled to meet my baby. That now all they do is ask for him first. Recently I became a mother with my first baby boy. He is 9 months old. Since day 1 my mother instinct kicked in with pain, I continued with my goals (no medication for labor-breastfeeding) was able to accomplish them just how I planned to. I have help from my husband as he had paternity leave. Yet I still want to do almost everything. I completely take over at night, bath routine, wash/sanitize pump parts/bottle. All while also making sure I meet my protein intake for milk supply. Practically I just have dad for soothing/burping. My baby name is Liam. He is the most wonderful thing that could happen to me and couldn’t ask for anything else in the world. I follow a schedule for him to sleep through the night. Always with the help of my sister as she is Doula (childcare/postpartum experienced) and personally experienced she provides me with knowledge up to date, formally showing my interest in following her footsteps. Love dogs and cats, former pet owner. I am fully vaccinated I and current with all. Experienced on childcare worked as a Receptionist for Pediatric Clinic for a couple of years. Then Pediatric Dentistry as a Hospital Admin. & Dental Assistant Trainee. Currently on maternity leave with no pay. And wouldn’t love nothing more than to be able to work with him while I do what I love.

I have 25 plus years of experience caring/teaching children and managing a home. Besides raising three children of my own, I have also taught swimming lessons for 20 summers, substitute taught, homeschooled, cared for twins, managed diabetes, am CPR/AED/First Aid certified, Newborn Care Specialist cert, Birth and Postpartum Doula certs, held live-in and live-out positions in the MD, VA, DC area, and have excellent references. I enjoy taking children on fun outings to the zoo, library, parks, museums, live music, puppet shows, feed the ducks, etc. I am also very active and play or have played most sports.
