I have over five years of hands-on childcare experience, beginning in Sweden, where I regularly babysat for multiple families. My passion for working with kids has only grown since then. I spent a full summer working at a daycare, caring for children ages 0–5, which gave me strong experience with infants, toddlers, and early childhood development. I have also worked as a camp counselor for three years, supervising overnight campers and helping create a fun, safe, and memorable environment. For the past two years, I’ve been part of the Kaizen MMA after-school program, where I help plan camp days, supervise activities, and manage game time for groups of over 90 kids. Hi my name is Ellie. I am the middle child of 5 and I am from Vienna, Virginia. I just finished my first year at Franciscan University, majoring in nursing and playing on their soccer team. I love spending time with kids and enjoy being outdoors, especially going on hikes and exploring nature. I have been babysitting for almost 7 years, with experience from 5 months-12 years. I’ve babysat regularly for a family of 5 boys, so I am comfortable managing multiple children. I’m attentive and creative, and I love doing crafts and playing games outside. I also love reading books and I like to bring a long some of my favorites to share:) In addition to childcare, I’m happy to help with light cleaning, meal prep, laundry and errands.
