Hi, my name is ShaQuoria, but friends call me Gabby! I currently live in Henrico, VA, but I was born and raised in AL and just moved here from CA. I have 10+ years experience if you count me caring for my younger siblings and neighboring children. I have babysat for a couple of times, but my experience is within babysitting my siblings, neighboring kids, or helping at my hometown’s daycare. I have worked as an ABA therapist, and BHT with a total of about two years experience in this, caring for adults and children with special needs. I have been a CNA for almost four years, and have worked in all settings: hospice, in-home, assisted living, health & rehab, hospital, acute, palliative, etc.. I love to clean, cook, and since I have sisters and little cousins; I love to take them to get ice cream, and to the park, specifically the water park because it’s so hot & humid back home! I have my own vehicle. Although, I am 23, I want to communicate with children in a way they will understand and love. I have a kind heart and I am very patient. I am certified by AHA for BLS. I have 3 AS degrees from Los Angeles Harbor Community College. One in Pre-Health Professions, Mathematics & Social Sciences, and Health & Fitness. I currently attend VCU School of Nursing, and aspire to be an example of a curious and non-judgmental human being in life. I want to help with school work, bake, paint, sing, play games/sports, or do any extra-curricular activities as well.

I started volunteering at a Senior daycare center in Richmond, Virginia and I find fulfillment and rewarding in caring for seniors in a loving atmosphere. I completed day 5 of volunteering and I plan to give more time to Senior 1st choice and also find balance to work for childcare and Senior companion.
