Bringing joy and care to children is something I’ve always been passionate about. I have years of hands-on childcare experience in a variety of settings. Growing up, I helped in the nursery at church every weekend, and during my senior year, I volunteered for months at Head Start working with children ages 3–5. I also spent a summer as an overnight camp counselor at a YMCA camp in Maine, caring for and leading activities for kids ages 5–14. I’ve been a nanny for multiple families, including a nanny share for three children (ages 3, 5, and 6), and I also provided full-time care for my younger sister when my mom faced medical challenges. On top of that, I’ve babysat for numerous families, including overnight care. One of my biggest responsibilities was watching about 10 children from multiple families during a Fourth of July event while the parents celebrated—I loved the challenge and made sure everyone had a fun, safe time! I have extensive experience with children of all ages, including infants, thanks to helping raise my little sister. I enjoy creating a fun, nurturing environment through games, crafts, and outdoor play. While I’m not currently CPR certified, I plan to get certified as soon as possible.
