Hi families! My name is Ximena, I’m 31 years old, and I’m originally from Colombia. I’m a caring, responsible, and dependable nanny with over 10 years of childcare experience.
I’ve had the pleasure of working with wonderful families throughout my career, and I recently completed four years with my most recent family. Building strong, trusting relationships with both children and parents is something I truly value. I also have references available from multiple families I’ve worked with and would be happy to share them upon request.

My approach to childcare
I enjoy creating fun, age-appropriate activities that encourage children’s curiosity, creativity, independence, and development. Whether we’re exploring local parks, visiting the library for story time, enjoying picnics, attending activities and classes, or arranging playdates, I love keeping children active, engaged, and excited to learn.
At home, we can read books, paint, draw, work on puzzles, play games, dance, sing, and listen to music. I also love incorporating Spanish into everyday activities, giving children a fun and natural opportunity to learn a second language.

“Ximena worked with us for almost 1 year before transitioning to another family. She was a live in nanny and cared primarily for our new born son until he was 10 months. We also had a 5 year old, that she helped watch occasionally, who has quite a lot of energy and can from time to time be a challenge to redirect when upset and she was a professional at all times with both!
Because she is bilingual she was able to share her native language with both boys on a daily basis and we loved the diversity she brought to our house. She is quiet but assertive, patient but not a "push over".
We were very sad to loose her but she moved and she lived too far to make it worth while to have her stay on; then she found another family on top of that extremely close to her new place. We have a new nanny and as nice as she is, she is not nearly as attentive as Ximena was, and any family that is lucky enough to have her in their home will have a true professional childcare worker on their hands.”
