Hello Families! 👋🏼 My name is Lorena, and I’m originally from Colombia, but I’ve been living here for over six years. I worked as an Au Pair for two years and have been a nanny for the past three. I have experience caring for newborns, toddlers, and children up to teenagers. I truly enjoy spending time with kids—playing, learning, and having fun together! One of my favorite games is hide and seek—it’s always a blast! I’m looking forward to meeting your family and caring for your little ones with love, patience, and creativity. 💛

Great work. Kids really connected with Lorena

Hi! My name is Rosemary, but I also go by “Rose-berrie,” a playful nickname given to me by the children I’ve cared for. I’m 25 years old and have experience working at a children’s learning center in the Seattle area, where I’ve cared for infants, toddlers and preschoolers. As the youngest of a large family of six, I have also cared for my nephews (ages ranging from newborn to 4 years old), which has shown me firsthand how valuable a reliable helping hand can be for new mothers. I’ve also cared for little cousins, as well as the children of family friends and neighbors, since I was 15. Through my journey in child care, I’ve developed a genuine passion for working with kids and building strong relationships with parents. My experience, both in professional child care settings and with family, has given me skills in leading crafts, engaging in floor play, preparing meals, and keeping daily routines running smoothly. I take pride in creating a safe, happy, and engaging environment where children feel loved and supported. I am currently majoring in Early Childhood Development in college and working toward becoming a preschool teacher. Watching children learn, grow, and express their unique personalities is the most rewarding part of what I do. In addition to child care, I’m also experienced in household assistance. I have my own reliable transportation and bring warmth, professionalism, and a strong work ethic to every family I work with. I would love the opportunity to meet your family and provide care that makes life easier for you and your little ones.

Hi, my name is Nina and I moved up here about a year ago from Florida, now I’m in school for nursing. I’m available for babysitting, senior care, and house services. Im just looking for side work to help pay for school. Back home I was teaching kids at children’s church ages 2-10. Also I did baby sit a few kids after church at their houses per the parents request (ages 3,7, and 10). I’ve grown up mainly around older people and enjoy spending time with them as well. My grandparents run a cleaning business back home which I helped with a lot too if other services are needed. Right now I work at Seattle children’s hospital and at a clinic for children on the spectrum. I also have a lot of back ground volunteering in SPED classrooms and ASD clinics. Since I work in a clinical setting I am CPR, BLS, FIRST AID, AND CPI certified. Overall I’m really into music, reading, and the arts. So I always find something fun to do with the kids whether it’s just dance, teaching instruments, drawing, karaoke, teaching a card games, helping with homework, or reading them a story! I like cook for my siblings and other kids I have babysat, so if needed I can cook as well.

"We absolutely LOVE Isa — our family was so fortunate to have found her through UrbanSitter. I'm a first-time mom, and it took me a long time to find a full-time nanny I could trust to care for our sweet infant boy. Our boy connected with her immediately, and we couldn't have asked for anyone else to care for him. Her calming presence was also perfect for parents like us who work from home. We feel so lucky UrbanSitter helped us find someone who has truly become a part of our family."

"I was so stressed about finding a part-time nanny for my 14-month-old son, who has moderate separation anxiety and hadn't been left with anyone but family before, but we were both immediately at ease in Buhay's presence. Her empathy and commitment to understanding child development are apparent in every interaction I've witnessed between her and my toddler. I feel very lucky to have found her."

"Erna watched our now 5 year old daughter and 3 year old son for a few years. She is punctual, responsible, honest, and playful. What we appreciated most was that she was thoughtful in ensuring that we had a little break; for example, when the kids were clingy, she was able to divert their attention with games or songs or walks to the park. We felt very comfortable leaving our kids with Erna because of her caring nature and experience that spans a decade (including being a live-in nanny)."
