Hi! Iām Ruoxi, a bilingual English and Chinese speaker with a strong passion for children, education, and lifelong learning.
Iām currently an entrepreneur and run my own property management business. Before moving to the United States, I founded and managed an English language training school in China, where I served as the school principal. That experience gave me the opportunity to work closely with children, teachers, and families, and it sparked a lasting interest in how children learn, grow, and develop confidence.
Iām especially interested in different approaches to education and child development. I enjoy learning about educational philosophies and finding ways to adapt activities to each childās personality, interests, and learning style. I believe children learn best when they are curious and engaged, so I love the idea of ālearning through play and playing through learning.ā
Rather than simply giving children answers, I enjoy asking questions, encouraging curiosity, and helping them develop the ability to think independently and solve problems on their own. Depending on the childās age and interests, I enjoy reading together, doing arts and crafts, playing educational games, exploring nature, practicing English or Chinese, and creating activities that make learning feel natural and fun.
I have also helped care for my neighborsā children and genuinely enjoy spending time with kids. I am patient, responsible, organized, and attentive. As someone who has managed both a school and my own businesses, I understand the importance of responsibility, communication, and trust.
I am fluent in both English and Chinese and would be happy to incorporate either language into everyday activities if a family is interested in giving their child more exposure to Chinese or supporting a bilingual environment.
Above everything else, I believe a childās safety and well-being always come first. My goal is to provide a safe, positive, and encouraging environment where children feel comfortable being themselves, asking questions, exploring their interests, and becoming more confident and independent.
