I have been babysitting since a teenager as I have siblings that are 10+ yrs younger than me. Helping and educating children has always come naturally to me and it’s definitely the job I love most! After I finished my AA, I started working in the Olympia School District as a special education paraeducator and fell in love with it. I have been doing it ever since. I recently became a mom to a beautiful little boy and I am now hoping to find an opportunity where I can help another family while also caring for my son. Our society unfortunately makes it very challenging for families to find the care they need for their children, which is why I am hoping to help a family in need!

Some of the things I can offer are as follows: transportation to & from school or appointments, meal prep, tutoring or help with school assignments, assistance with pets, house cleaning, and more! I have cared for and/or worked with people of all ages including in day cares, schools, in homes and in foster care, hospitals, in the community. I have experience with hospice care as a Social Worker, not an RN. My career has been focused on working with folks having mental health and/or behavioral issues, those needing psychiatric care, developmental, and/or medical care and case management. I have an active license in CPR, First Aid, and CPI. I’ve owned and cared for pets my entire life. Currently, I care for, and deeply love, an Australian Cattle Dog named Fennel. I recently lost my job and am looking for work. I am open to various offers and opportunities. My hourly rate starts at $25 an hour, cost depends on the need and logistics.
