I have volunteered and worked in elementary schools with up to 30 kids at a time. And have been watching my 5 siblings since I was 12. [I am also cpr certified.] I love kids and guiding them to the best versions of themselves like a lot of my teachers did when I was growing up. I can cook, clean, run errands, as well as tutor. I am also very comfortable around animals big or small and any species so I am available for that service as well.

Hi there! My name is Asma and I can’t wait to work with you. A little about me, I am originally from Ethiopia and eventually made my way to the States in 1998. Since then, I am lucky enough to have birthed 4 beautiful kids here: 3 boys (9, 16, 18) and 1 girl (19)! Aside from the motherhood experience, I’ve worked with seniors and children of all ages for over a decade. I have been employed as an Assistant Teacher at the Goddard School in Snoqualmie, Washington since 2016. At the Goddard School, I have been an assistant teacher to several teachers and have cared for ages newborn to 5, just until they’re headed to Kindergarten. In doing so, my responsibilities included: creating a calm, safe and nurturing environment to meet the physical, emotional and cognitive needs of infants, diaper changing, playing indoor & outdoors, etc. Furthermore, from 2005 to 2010, I was employed as a Home Care Assistance through Chesterfield in Seattle, Washington where I was responsible for caring for several seniors. My responsibilities included: mobility support, assisting with maintaining personal hygiene by bathing, brushing their hair and teeth or applying skincare, etc. I truly love working with seniors and children as they both provide me with a sense of joy and happiness. With each child or senior that I care for, I am committed to providing a safe and comfortable relationship with one another to ensure that they are best cared for.
