I have always loved working with people and creating a positive, welcoming environment, which is why caregiving has become something I genuinely enjoy. I currently nanny once a week for a family with a 2-year-old and a newborn, and I also work with another family with toddlers, so I have experience balancing multiple kids, keeping them entertained, and helping with routines throughout the day. I have also worked as a preschool teacher, a camp counselor, and a lead teacher at the YMCA for ages 7–9, which helped me build strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
I am also lifeguard certified, so I am trained in CPR and first aid for children, which has made me very confident in handling situations calmly and safely. In addition, I work as a gymnastics coach for children under 7, where I work with large groups of kids and focus on creating a fun, energetic, and safe environment. That experience has taught me how to keep kids engaged, active, and entertained while also making safety the top priority.
I would describe myself as energetic, patient, outgoing, and very reliable. I love staying engaged with kids through activities, crafts, games, outdoor time, and just making everyday moments fun. Along with childcare experience, I also have a strong background in customer service and leadership roles, which has made me very organized, adaptable, and good at communicating with both kids and parents. I also love animals and am very comfortable around pets and helping with household tasks when needed.
