Hi, I’m Lydia Grace! I recently graduated from the University of Washington with a BS degree in Biology and am taking two gap years before attending medical school with a focus in maternal-child health. I am also certified in CPR/First Aid for Adults, Children, and Infants, so safety and reliability are always my absolute top priorities in the household. I have worked as a childcare provider for 4 years, gaining extensive experience across a wide range of age groups and developing the skills to confidently care for up to four children at once. I care deeply about contributing to children’s growth and well-being, and I recognize the vital importance of age-appropriate activities. I love leading kids in engaging crafts, outdoor play, and reading to support their ongoing developmental milestones. Additionally, I have a background in tutoring and am always happy to help with homework, especially in STEM subjects and Spanish. I am also completely comfortable preparing healthy meals for the kids and keeping the house tidy and organized. I look forward to bringing a blend of fun, developmental engagement, and reliable, safety-focused care to your family! Please feel free to reach out with any questions. :)

Hello! My name's Emily, and I'm a recent graduate from the University of Washington. I've mainly worked with children in the K-5 age range, but I'm very open to babysitting children of younger ages as well! Most recently, this last summer I was employed as an Assistant Instructor at IslandWood, an environmental education day camp on Bainbridge Island. I've also worked as an After-School Counselor at Wedgwood Elementary School. Additionally, I have past experience as a babysitter with middle-school aged children. I have a Honda CR-V with four seats (three in the back seat, one in the front seat if old enough) if any type of driving is needed. If you would like to talk further or have any questions, feel free to contact me!

The boys loved Emily. She did a great job.

Nice to meet you! I am Macaria and I am a college student. I may seem young, but I have worked with kids since I was in 6th grade. I have volunteered and worked in elementary schools with up to 30 kids at a time. And have been watching my 5 siblings since I was 12. [I am also cpr certified.] I love kids and guiding them to the best versions of themselves like a lot of my teachers did when I was growing up. I can cook, clean, run errands, as well as tutor. I am also very comfortable around animals big or small and any species so I am available for that service as well.

Right on time, and a very calming presence for my daughter.

Rebecca 2 reviews
Seattle
$30 per hour for 1 child

Hello my name is Rebecca. I have had over 10 years of experience supervising and caring for children aged between 2 and 12 years. For over 2 years I worked in the education program to provide Pre-k age children the tools they need to be successful. This program taught me the importance of patients kindness and most importantly the love that’s involved in nurturing and caring for children. I successfully scheduled and managed multiple activities, prepared healthy meals and snacks for the children, assisted with homework and projects, organized and facilitated creative activities and games for the children. I'm a fluent French speaker and conversational Spanish speaker.

Rebecca babysat my daughter from age 9 month to about 7 years. She was a wonderful babysitter. I am a very overprotective mama of a single child and Rebecca is the only person I trusted to care for her. Not only was she very responsible but my daughter always had the best time with “aunty Becca”. They would do art, dance, bake, go to museums, etc… I would highly recommend her babysitting services.

"We absolutely LOVE Isa — our family was so fortunate to have found her through UrbanSitter. I'm a first-time mom, and it took me a long time to find a full-time nanny I could trust to care for our sweet infant boy. Our boy connected with her immediately, and we couldn't have asked for anyone else to care for him. Her calming presence was also perfect for parents like us who work from home. We feel so lucky UrbanSitter helped us find someone who has truly become a part of our family."

"I was so stressed about finding a part-time nanny for my 14-month-old son, who has moderate separation anxiety and hadn't been left with anyone but family before, but we were both immediately at ease in Buhay's presence. Her empathy and commitment to understanding child development are apparent in every interaction I've witnessed between her and my toddler. I feel very lucky to have found her."

"Erna watched our now 5 year old daughter and 3 year old son for a few years. She is punctual, responsible, honest, and playful. What we appreciated most was that she was thoughtful in ensuring that we had a little break; for example, when the kids were clingy, she was able to divert their attention with games or songs or walks to the park. We felt very comfortable leaving our kids with Erna because of her caring nature and experience that spans a decade (including being a live-in nanny)."
