Yelena $30 per hour for 1 child
Booked by 2 families in Snoqualmie Pass, WA

Hello. My name is Helen. I have a teaching degree in Early Education, as well as in Multimedia and Graphic Design. I knew that I wanted to be a teacher since I turned 10, and never regretted my choice. I have been working (and currently am) as preschool teacher for more than 13 years. I also have background in Montessori teaching. My hobbies include reading, music, drawing, arts and crafts. I always treat children as little adults, with respect, trust, compassion and love. I always play with children, not just watch them or supervise. I am fluent in English, as well as in Russian. I value honesty, kindness, transparency, flexibility, integrity, curiosity, sense of humor in others and in myself. Please, do not hesitate to reach out with any questions. Thank you for your consideration.

Elise 1 review
$20 per hour for 1 child
Booked by 1 family in Snoqualmie Pass, WA

I’m an incoming third year BSN (bachelor of science in nursing) student at Gonzaga University. I have a couple years of experience babysitting toddlers and up. I also have worked at a kids indoor playground ”Nick’s Magnificent” for over a year now, where I work the cafe and at the same time look after a wide range of kids from 0-12 years and make sure they aren’t getting into any trouble! I do want to mention that I am going back to college in September so I’m available until the end of August for repeat care.

Elise was professional, reliable and early to the booking. I really appreciated the reach out beforehand to quickly check in. She was attentive and began to engage with my child immediately- My child said that they had fun with her and can’t wait for her to babysit again. When I returned she has a thorough report of their activities, had put away leftover dinner and the items they had played with. She earned alot of trust we me as a parent very quickly and I felt that my child was in great care while I was away.

Janelle $25 per hour for 1 child

Hello, my name is Janelle! I am in the final stages of earning my Masters Degree in School Psychology. As part of my coursework, I completed requirements for a certificate in Social Emotional Learning. I have worked on the public school system for the last 5 years, and as a Certified Behavior Technician prior to my time in education. I have experience working with children from infancy to 21 years of age. I also have extensive experience working with individuals who have special needs. I enjoy taking children outside, reading, playing imaginary games, and arts and crafts. I also love to learn more about what children find interesting (from Roblox to dinosaurs to constellations). As an educator, I can assist with tutoring. I can also perform household chores such as cooking and minor cleaning. I am comfortable with pets and available to answer any questions you may have.

Beverly $23 per hour for 1 child

I raised 5 of my own children, 4 boys and 1 daughter, from birth to adulthood. I also have 2 granddaughters 5 and 7 years old. I have lots of patience, tons of energy for many activities children love to do, and a lot of love and caring to give. Children are such a blessing and a great joy. I will always carry out your wishes for your family because you have sacrificed, and your role and wishes are very important. I do really love animals, and I have cared for two dogs, cats, rabbits, and birds, that were part of my family. If someone asked me what I would do, if their child did not do as they were asked while I was caring for them on a babysitting job, I would tell them… I would like to have had a conversation with the parents before they left their children in my care, as to how they wanted me to handle that situation. I would like to follow what the parents wishes are, because you cannot make a child do anything. although you can make the parents happy by following their wishes. I have had two previous jobs working with seniors in the past. The first one was mostly companionship, but I also cooked, took her to appointments and to run errands, we would also go walking for a little exercise, and to keep her agile and able to have balance and strength. She had great stories that I would listen to, and we would connect over them… she was a great lady. The second job was working with a gentleman who needed driving to appointments, grocery stores and to the gym. He had macular degeneration so he could see, but not enough to drive. I was very patient and understanding with him, as he did suffer from some age related dementia (he was in his early 90s). I would help him with household cleaning, chores and companionship, he liked to share his life over lunch that I would prepare for him. I also helped him with his finances and writing checks to pay his bills. He was very spunky and entertaining, and he liked to talk about his life when his wife was still alive.

Maria $28 per hour for 1 child

As a nanny from Brazil, I bring 8 years of experience 4y being a teacher in Ebateca, 2 years as a living nanny in Brasil and 2 more years as an Aupair here in US (with a special focus on infants), but also a lot of love, patience, and joy to my work. My heart is truly in caring for little ones. For me, being a great nanny means partnering with you. I see myself as an extension of your family, carefully following your approach to routines, education, and parenting so your child feels secure and loved. You’ll often find us out exploring! I love taking children on adventures to parks, museums, and aquariums—anywhere we can discover something new. I’m also dedicated to nurturing their growing minds and hearts through social play, story times (a personal favorite!), and gentle encouragement to help build their confidence and vocabulary. I’d love the chance to bring my caring and supportive energy to your family.

"We absolutely LOVE Isa — our family was so fortunate to have found her through UrbanSitter. I'm a first-time mom, and it took me a long time to find a full-time nanny I could trust to care for our sweet infant boy. Our boy connected with her immediately, and we couldn't have asked for anyone else to care for him. Her calming presence was also perfect for parents like us who work from home. We feel so lucky UrbanSitter helped us find someone who has truly become a part of our family."

"I was so stressed about finding a part-time nanny for my 14-month-old son, who has moderate separation anxiety and hadn't been left with anyone but family before, but we were both immediately at ease in Buhay's presence. Her empathy and commitment to understanding child development are apparent in every interaction I've witnessed between her and my toddler. I feel very lucky to have found her."

"Erna watched our now 5 year old daughter and 3 year old son for a few years. She is punctual, responsible, honest, and playful. What we appreciated most was that she was thoughtful in ensuring that we had a little break; for example, when the kids were clingy, she was able to divert their attention with games or songs or walks to the park. We felt very comfortable leaving our kids with Erna because of her caring nature and experience that spans a decade (including being a live-in nanny)."
