Hi there, I’m Corinne! I believe that creative play is integral to a happy life so being able to facilitate that for kids who are just discovering each new medium is a dream come true. I have a BFA in Studio Art from Western Washington University and have spent the past two years working at arts-centered preschools where I lead weekly projects for the students. Their fresh approaches and willingness to experiment are incredibly inspiring for me. I love babysitting and nannying because it gives me the opportunity to work one on one with kids which isn't always possible in a preschool environment. I have always been an avid reader and find a lot of joy in reading stories with children.

Hi! I’m a loving and dependable toddler mom to my 3-year-old son, and caring for children has been a big part of my life for the past 6–7 years. I have experience caring for children ranging from newborns and infants all the way up to 10 years old, giving me the ability to understand and adapt to the different needs, personalities, and routines of each age group. As a mom myself, I understand how important it is to find someone you can trust, feel comfortable with, and rely on when it comes to your little ones. I’m patient, nurturing, attentive, and always focused on creating a safe and positive environment where children can feel happy, comfortable, and cared for. I enjoy keeping kids engaged through playtime, crafts, outdoor activities, reading, learning, and age-appropriate activities, while also making sure their routines and parents’ preferences are respected. Whether your child is an energetic toddler, a curious preschooler, or an independent school-age kid, I’m confident in providing loving, attentive, and responsible care. My goal is for every child I care for to feel safe, valued, and cared for just like they would at home. 💗 I’d love the opportunity to become someone your family can trust and feel confident leaving your little ones with! Child Experiences: I have experience from infant to 10 year olds! I love playing board games or doing crafts with kids! I grew up dancing hula while living in Hawaii! Pet Care: I’ve always been a dog lover my whole life! I can always dogsit for you while you are on vacation! I think dogs would be more comfortable in their own home so I can stop by and let them out and feed them as well! I dont mind a little walk or playing fetch with them! I don’t mind cats at all! Household Services: I don’t mind doing light housework while watching the kiddos! If the kiddos or pets need to be fed I can do that too! I can assure you that your children or fur babies will be fed a good meal!

Elfina 1 review
$20 per hour for 1 child

I love being a mom to 2 girls ages 11 and 18. I am up to date on all vaccines, and first aid/CPR certified, and have had lots of experience driving with car seats, kids. My kids are now back in school so I have lots of time to give to other families who may need help. I’ve nannied in the past for all ages(newborn through middle school). I try to find what sparks curiosity and joy in kids and then help them grow their interests in that subject. I like to engage with them via nature, music, art, cooking, and cultural activities. I’m comfortable being with family pets, helping with household chores when able. I am confident that I can offer you a reliable caring sitter for your child and/or children.

Elfina has helped care for our kids since they were babies. We have two very active boys and she is so engaging and fun with them. They stay active and they learn so much. She is dependable and our kids love her. We continually ask for her and highly recommend her for caring for your kids.

Alexa $18 per hour for 1 child

Hi there! My name is Alexa, I am 21 years old, and I would love to get to know you and your kiddos! A little about who I am and my experience: I am a 2023 WSU graduate with my B.S. in Psychology, and before I go on to continue my education, I wanted to take the time to get to know myself and my passions a bit more. One of the areas of psychology that I always thought I might want to focus on is child development - and I thought that babysitting/nannying during my break between school would be a wonderful chance to experience the wonderful hearts and minds of kiddos and see if that is something I should further pursue. I am the eldest child of my parents’ four children, with one sister being 8 years younger than me and one brother being 13 years younger than me. Much of my childhood was spent changing diapers, helping with nap time, playing with them, watching them while my parents were busy or out for the night, and generally being a big part of their early years. I also had experience working with children through my church, as we frequently volunteered at a local family homeless shelter where we would play with the kids and try to brighten their days just a bit. Through my church I also spent a couple weeks in Kosovo in the summer of 2019 where I helped teach the local children English. It was a wonderful experience and one that I would love to return to one day. For transparency, I will be candid and say that it has been a second since I have been actively involved in the child caring world. Because of covid during my last two years of high school, and because I was getting my Bachelor’s degree so young, circumstances made it so that I haven’t been able to care for children like I used to in a while. My siblings have also made it clear that they are now too old and way too cool to hang out with their older sister! I will completely understand if my gap in my child caring resume makes you feel uneasy or uncomfortable. I wouldn’t ever expect a parent to trust their children with someone unless they were 100% comfortable with the person- and I am very okay if that isn’t me. If you do think we will be a good fit, I am happy to speak at your convenience! Childcare is a wonderful, fulfilling job and I am very excited to jump back into that world again. Thank you so much for taking the time to read about me and for considering me as a candidate to take care of your kiddos :)

"We absolutely LOVE Isa — our family was so fortunate to have found her through UrbanSitter. I'm a first-time mom, and it took me a long time to find a full-time nanny I could trust to care for our sweet infant boy. Our boy connected with her immediately, and we couldn't have asked for anyone else to care for him. Her calming presence was also perfect for parents like us who work from home. We feel so lucky UrbanSitter helped us find someone who has truly become a part of our family."

"I was so stressed about finding a part-time nanny for my 14-month-old son, who has moderate separation anxiety and hadn't been left with anyone but family before, but we were both immediately at ease in Buhay's presence. Her empathy and commitment to understanding child development are apparent in every interaction I've witnessed between her and my toddler. I feel very lucky to have found her."

"Erna watched our now 5 year old daughter and 3 year old son for a few years. She is punctual, responsible, honest, and playful. What we appreciated most was that she was thoughtful in ensuring that we had a little break; for example, when the kids were clingy, she was able to divert their attention with games or songs or walks to the park. We felt very comfortable leaving our kids with Erna because of her caring nature and experience that spans a decade (including being a live-in nanny)."
