I love being a nanny since it is so much fun to build relationships with kids and watch them grow and develop their interests, character and personality. Kids are always hopeful, positive and strive to do what they want to do. The sky is the limit for them and I love that about kids. My experience: ~Being a nanny for multiple families, including kids with special needs. I have worked for multiple nanny and babysitting companies ~I have worked as a Behavior Technician as well as a Special Needs Paraeducator for various school districts. Both one-on-one and in group settings with kids with a variety of behavioral issues and developmental disabilities, mostly on the autism spectrum. ~Academically I have experience being a tutor and am very familiar with K-12 curriculum in the area, mostly at the elementary level. ~When I was a Teacher Counselor at a residential treatment facility I helped with leading, mentoring, modeling, facilitating groups and upbuilding youth socioemotionally.  ~I have 3 kids so I'm very familiar with how difficult it is to raise kids these days. It is definitely the hardest job being a parent but its the most rewarding also!

I am calm, reserved and curious but I become a very bubbly, humorous and goofy person when you get to know me. I am nurturing and very sensitive to my environment, always cautious. I’ve worked at a day care and also as an au pair and would casually take babysitting gigs. I’ve worked with a varying group of ages but I’ve worked mostly with toddlers to preteens. I don’t mind working with pets as well as seniors.

I have around six years of experience mentoring and supporting youth from newborns through age 16. I’m comfortable with children of all ages, including infants and toddlers, and can help with meals, homework, bedtime routines, activities, light housekeeping, and emotional regulation.
