Hi! My name is Natalie and am 25 years old. I'm an experienced babysitter with 10+ years of experience who has a passion for child care with a goal of becoming a pediatric nurse. I received my bachelor's of science in nursing this past May at Samuel Merritt University in Oakland and am currently finding occasional babysitting jobs as I study for my state board exam. I wanted to go into nursing because I have always enjoyed helping people. I have always enjoyed working with children, which is why I chose pediatric nursing and why I have always gravitated to childcare jobs. I have had many hamsters, cats, dogs, chinchillas, etc...so I am fine with giving them my extra care. After graduating from USF with a BA degree in psychology I have been working for the last 5 years as a special education teacher, direct support professional and disability advocate on the Mendocino coast. I also have worked as an ESL teacher abroad and have many years of childcare experience and have completed university coursework in early childhood education. I am currently back in school in San Francisco getting licensed in Cosmetology at the Cinta Aveda Institute.
