Hello Parents, I’m currently available for occasional babysitting and part-time childcare in Oakland. My childcare journey began in 2009, when I worked as an Au Pair in the Netherlands for a wonderful family with a seven-year-old boy and a nine-year-old girl. After moving to the U.S. in 2011, I continued babysitting and have since gained experience with infants, multiples, and school-age children. Beyond keeping kids safe and supported, I focus on modeling kindness, curiosity, and respect. I enjoy supporting children as they build confidence, independence, and thoughtfulness. Hi- my name is Danielle! I am a public school teacher of 4 years (3rd grade for 3, 2nd grade for 1). I’m looking to make some extra money on the side with house sitting, pet sitting, babysitting, or tutoring. I have a bachelors degree in Childhood Development, i have worked in a preschool as the head teacher and also in an after-school program with elementary aged kiddos, and also spent two years as a full time nanny to twins (3 yrs). I’m mostly looking for evening care jobs or weekends when my schedule permits. I have experience with tutoring elementary school aged kids as well as experience with special needs kids. I have a lot of pet sitting experience and have owned dogs/cats my entire life. I don’t have a ton of free time during weekdays but would be willing to work out check ins or walks if necessary.
