Hello my name is Lindsay, I am currently a graduate student in the Masters of Social Work program at California State University, Northridge. Besides having to take care of all my younger cousins, I have work experience in elementary, middle, and high school levels in the education system. Additionally, I have experience with tutoring kids in math, english and science. I love being around children and have worked as a coach at multiple basketball clinics because they are so fun to be around. I have been working with children in various capacities for over 10 years. For 2 years, I worked as an actor on a traveling theatre group that performs shows on bullying prevention and other social issues at schools throughout the greater Seattle area, and then spent 2 years as the Education and Outreach Program Coordinator for that same theatre company. I now work as an Education Programs Specialist at the Skirball Cultural Center in Los Angeles, where I develop museum programming for students and teachers. In terms of childcare, I have worked with dozens of families, ages ranging from 11 weeks to 13 years old, and I am comfortable and experienced working with all ages and up to three children at a time (or more if necessary). I have learned so much from little ones over the past years and being able to play a role in their growth and development is a great joy.
