I’m a warm, creative, playful and dependable caregiver with 15+ years of childcare experience with children of all ages, from newborns and toddlers to teens. I currently babysit for several wonderful families on the Westside and have experience with infant care, diaper changes, bottles, naps, bedtime routines, potty training, light meal prep, swimming and outdoor activities, arts and crafts, and imaginative play. I have a BA in Theatre from UCLA and a background in comedy, so creativity and play come naturally to me! I’m also an animal lover, have a clean driving record and safe car, and am happy to help with light household tasks related to the children. As a child, some of my fondest memories were with a fun and caring babysitter. I want to provide this similar positive experience for the next generation! I recently obtained my bachelor's in psychology at UCSB with a focus in child development and neurodiversity, and am excited to begin my master's in social welfare at UCLA in fall 2026. I am passionate about positive youth development, and in my recent professional roles, I have provided ABA support to neurodiverse kids ages 3-16, infant development therapy for kids ages 0-3, and served as a case manager at a 24hr youth shelter for 12-17 year olds. Personally, I am an easily excited individual who enjoys the outdoors, animals, the beach, and learning new things!

Aloha families - I am a semi retired credentialed teacher - elementary through middle school. I am currently substitute teaching -on call- LAUSD at my discretion a d we are on summer break. I also nanny for one wonderful family - two boys 3 and 5 years old one day a week on Tuesdays - for summer camp and on school days. Hello. My name is Bridget and I am new to Urban Sitter although I am a lifelong caregiver. I’ve worked with all ages, including babies, children and seniors. I’ve worked in many different settings, including the mainstream Kindergarten and First grade as academic and classroom support, as well as a Paraeducator in special education supporting one specific student throughout their school day, ages 5-12. Both of these were at Elementary School level for the past 10 years, Also, I’ve worked many summers in the district campus daycare with babies aged newborn to two years old, as well as in the preschool with ages 2 1/2 to 5 years old. I’ve also tutored middle school students, both mainstream and special needs, in the home setting during distance learning. Prior to this, I’ve worked in the theater and stage setting as an actress working with oral deaf children learning to use their voices with confidence and breath control. We used the stage as a tool for projection. These children were aged 4-12 years old, and I worked with them after school and on weekends, on and off, for years. Personally speaking, although I am a single mother of two young adults and one about to be, my earliest and greatest on the job experience came when I was 10 years old, and was older sibling to a to a one-year-old baby sister, and newborn baby brother. Real hands-on learning while carrying the most precious cargo. I would also like to add that I think and act in real time in every situation. Over the years I’ve had to utilize emergency life saving techniques five times, such as the Heimlich maneuver, and CPR, all with life-saving results. On one occasion even stabilizing a stroke victim while waiting for medical help to arrive. I take everything very seriously, but I also like to have fun.
