Hi, I’m Samara! I’m an experienced and caring nanny with a true passion for childcare. I volunteered for 8 years in a daycare in Brazil, caring for kids from 6 months to 7 years old, and I’ve been babysitting in the U.S. since 2016, including 2 years as an au pair. Families describe me as responsible, trustworthy, and always on time. I love helping children learn, develop, and have fun! I look forward to meeting you and your family! Sincerely, Samara

“Samara was on time and adapted well to the two new kids she was looking after like a professional. You could immediately tell she was experienced and comfortable taking are of the young ones and keeping them engaged and learning. Highly recommend!”

Hi! I'm a part-time student with a flexible schedule and a genuine love for working with children. I spent several years as a camp counselor working with special needs children through high school and college, which gave me a deep appreciation for patient, attentive, and individualized care. I have a background in engineering which means I'm reliable, detail oriented, and great at problem solving. I also grew up in a Chinese household with Mandarin as my first language, which I'm happy to incorporate naturally into our time together if that's something your family values. I'm calm, warm, and genuinely enjoy engaging with kids through play, creative activities, reading, and exploring. I believe every child deserves to feel seen and supported. I have a pediatric CPR, AED and first aid certification, and am taking child development courses. I’m happy to provide references :)

Hi. My name is Pamela and I have been a childcare provider for over 20 years. When I moved to the Bay Area in 1989, I worked at St. Johns Infant -Toddler Center. From there, I moved to working with preschoolers then finally, I got my teaching credential. I have been working with elementary school children in Oakland since 1993. I love spending time with kids. I make up weekend field trips with my students and dream of having my own weekend outing association for kids in the future. I enjoy taking kids to parks, making up crazy songs and stories and basically being creative. I always bring new, fun things for kids to engage with- clay, cool pop-up books, spinning toys... I feel very comfortable with children and it's mutual. I don't believe in plopping kids in front of a screen when I babysit. I engage them in fun activities and make sure they are never bored. I believe in eating healthy and try to support families if they have that same belief. Go out, have fun and know that your children are in competent hands!
