After his passing I moved to Oregon and semi-retired in 2020. Children While in Oregon I took a part time job with KIDSNW as a Personal Support worker. They work with the State to get help for families who have children with disabilities. I was placed with a family who has 7 yr old twins, I helped them with daily activities like dressing, reading, art projects, homework, playing games, playing outside. I also supported the parents with home chores and accompanied them on errands and watched the children on their date nights. Infants and Toddlers I helped a family in Alameda County 2 to 3 times a week for 5 yrs who had new born twins and a 3 yr old, I assisted with bathing, clothing, changing diapers, preparing bottles for the evening and helped parents with household duties. I am currently working with a family that has twins a boy and girl they had just turned 2 when I started with them. My duties are changing diapers, feeding, bathing, reading books, drawing taking them to the park to play they have alot of energy. I also help with household chores. I relocated to Contra Costa County to help out my sister recover after her surgery, now that she is feeling better I would like to resume working part time. My primary interest is finding part time steady work assisting families with young children. In my spare time I like to garden, walk my dog and go to the movies. I am a self-starter motivated person who is easy going, friendly, honest, dependable, respectful, and I like to think I have a good sense of humor.
