I absolutely love being around children and have experience with all ages, from newborns (3 months old), babies to toddlers and older kids. I’ve been babysitting since I was pretty young, and over the years I’ve helped with pretty much everything… meals, naps, crafts, outings, driving to activities, and just keeping kids busy and having fun! I love being outside, going on walks and little adventures, reading, baking, doing crafts, and finding fun things to do together. I’m also happy to help out around the house with things like cleaning, cooking, organizing, or running errands when needed. I’m a huge animal lover too, so pets are never a problem! Hi, my name is Ryann! At this time, I am only looking for occasional jobs as I cannot commit to a regularly scheduled babysitting job. I have a bachelor's degree in psychology with a minor in criminal justice studies from San Francisco State University, and I am planning to go back to school to obtain a master's degree sometime in the next few years. I am up-to-date on all my vaccinations and boosters (including COVID-19), and I am trained in CPR/AED/First Aid, however my certification has lapsed. While in college, I took three courses specifically related to child and adolescent psychology and development. I began babysitting when I was 12 years old, and have worked with children of various ages over the years (newborns to preteens) as a babysitter, nanny, and volunteer camp counselor. When weather permits, I like to take the kids outside, for walks or to play at the park. However, I am just as happy staying inside, playing games, doing arts and crafts, or reading to the kids. I can also speak conversational Spanish. In my spare time, I like to read, bake, and make jewelry. Regarding COVID-19: I am happy to provide proof of full vaccination, including booster shots. I ask that all household members of families that I work with receive the vaccine and boosters when possible, unless medically unable. Likewise, I will inform all families if I or someone in my household is sick and/or has been exposed to COVID-19 and will cancel the job with as much notice as possible.
