Hi! My name is Artemis, my students call me Teacher Art! I’ve been teaching early childhood since April 2025 and I absolutely LOVE working with kids! My classroom had the most allergy students in the center so I am very familiar with allergy protocols. I have my SBS certification, my SIDS certification, and my Food Handler’s certification as well! My favorite things to do are puzzles, story time, and art activities! I also love getting to see what my students are interested in and using that knowledge to build stronger connections! I have a background in singing and art therapy, and I try to incorporate that into my work with my students. I have two years teaching experience with middle school aged students with disabilities as well. I’m fluent in English and Spanish, and intermediate in ASL. I also have experience working with seniors both in a nursing home and in home care as well. I have experience bathing and dressing seniors, meal prepping for them, and cleaning up their home. I would love to find a family that needs requiring Friday evening sittings. I would love to help a family unwind from a chaotic week and enter the weekend with well rested children and a clean home. After spending some time playing with the kids and feeding them dinner I will assist your children with their bedtime routine. After my first summer I was promoted to leader of my cabin group and have learned to keep things together, better my communication, and still keep kids happy! Pets wise, I have 3 cats and a dog so I know how to manage!
