My responsibilities included getting them ready, cooking meals, taking them to the park and library, and supporting their daily routines. Through their parents’ recommendation, I went on to babysit for additional families, including a set of twins and a brother and sister close in age, both under 10. I’ve also worked as a student tutor for several years at Polaris Charter Academy in Chicago’s West Humboldt Park neighborhood and previously served as a volunteer soccer coach for kids with special needs.
