Having grown up with a lab/hound mix, and caring for friends' and family's pets since, I am comfortable and familiar with dogs of all shapes and sizes. I love taking dogs for long walks, giving them treats, and making sure they are safe and having fun at all times!

I really like and generally have a very good rapport with most children (toddlers, especially) and have experience baby sitting and taking out for entertainment events several generations of nieces, nephews, grand-nieces & nephews, Enjoy reading, theatre/dance/music concerts and cultural events/venues, stories & re-enacting characters with and for children. I've worked in the past at the Wheelock Family Theatre and have worked as costumed characters in holiday events, especially (e g. X-Mas Elf at Filene's and Macy's; Mouse King in Boston Ballet Nutcracker promos, etc. Also, I'm a dog-lover .... have a good "rapport" with them, too. Many dogs I don't know will approach me for friendly attention while being walked. It appears - like children - that they have a "sixth sense", too. I'm also able to take on occasional office-support, general cleaning, and small special projects. I work PT and remotely from home in B2B sales and marketing. As my schedule can be somewhat flexible, I occasionally have open times for baby sitting, generally in the late afternoon, evenings, on some weekends, and - when remote work is slow - sometimes earlier in the day on weekdays.

Hi! I’m Funmbi 😊 I’m a graduate student at Boston University School of Medicine, and I’ve always naturally been someone who takes care of others. I’m the oldest of five siblings, so a lot of my experience started at home-helping out, staying organized, and being someone my siblings could rely on. I’ve also worked with kids of all ages through my church’s children’s and youth ministry, so I’m comfortable stepping in whether it’s playtime, helping with homework, or keeping a routine going. I also volunteer in my community and plan to attend medical school, so being dependable and attentive really matters to me. I’d describe myself as calm, patient, and easy to be around. I try to meet kids where they are, whether they’re energetic, shy, or just need someone to listen. I also worked as a Patient Care Assistant, which helped me become even more attentive, responsible, and aware when it comes to safety and making sure people feel comfortable and supported. I also love animals (especially dogs) so I’m more than happy to be around pets too. I’m happy to help with homework, meals, bedtime routines, or just keeping kids engaged with fun activities (and yes, I’m definitely the type to build forts or play games with them 😊). Overall, I just aim to create a space where kids feel comfortable and cared for, and where parents feel at ease knowing everything is in good hands.

Hi, I'm Rachel! I’m a calm, caring, and dependable person who genuinely loves caring for children and finds being of service deeply rewarding. Most recently, I’ve been a part-time nanny for a family with a 1-year-old girl and 3-year-old boy, caring for them individually and together, including full days. I’m comfortable with meals, diapers and potty routines, naps, active play, big emotions, and keeping little ones safe and engaged. I was also a full-time nanny for a 1-year-old earlier in life and have helped care for my two nephews, now 12 and 14, throughout their lives. As an artist and writer, I love encouraging creativity and imagination through art, games, stories, music, dancing, and outdoor play. As an older sibling of three, I have been taking care of little ones since I can remember. I babysat neighbors and family friends since I was 14, and have worked with children of all ages in school-based settings throughout high school and college. I grew up with dogs and cats and am familiar and comfortable taking care of furry friends as well. Currently, I am a Master's of Social Work student at Simmons University and work at a group home with teenagers. I am very comfortable around kids of all ages and can be kind, playful, and compassionate while reinforcing expectations. I have experience working with youth with complicated mental health diagnoses and complex needs, as well as neurodivergent kiddos. I am also extremely clean, able to take care of house plants, and love to cook! In my free time, I enjoy knitting, crocheting, and crafting, and I enjoy being creative with the little ones I watch.
