I love having the chance to hear about their favorite cartoon, sing along to their favorite Disney songs, and see the amazing ideas they come up with. I'm happy to play with kids, but I also take it seriously when there are rules they need to follow. Eating healthy snacks. Brushing their teeth. Going to bed. Those rules may not be things kids always want to do, but don't worry. I'll follow your schedule to a T. After all, kids also need the structure (and clean teeth) that come with less-fun habits. Hi caregivers! My name is Dylan, and I’m currently looking for one-time jobs since I’m currently in graduate school! I am currently pursuing my Masters in Speech Language Pathology at Emerson College. I previously attended the University of Connecticut where I studied Communication Sciences and American Sign Language. My experience working with children started in 2022. In the summer of 2022, my first job was at a summer camp for Deaf and Hard of Hearing Children. It was an overnight camp where I also taught archery. Following that experience, I decided to pursue more experiences in childcare and was hired at an early care and education center that I worked at part time while at UConn. During winter and summer breaks I often babysat and dogsat for many families. I also have experience working at a children’s fitness club within the gym I used to go to in my hometown. My most recent experiences have been working with children 3-17 years old as a Teacher of the Deaf during the 2[removed] school year. So far, as a graduate student clinician I’ve worked with infants, toddlers and school-age children. I do not have much experience with seniors, however, my first job was working as a waiter at a retirement home!
