Hi mom/dad! A little about me: I've been a caretaker for my younger brother for his whole life pretty much haha along with extended family members' children. I have experience taking care of children aged 0-13 for over. As for pets, I owned a few German shepherds growing up and loved and cared for them deeply, also fostered a bichon frise for a few months in 2022 and it was some of the best few months of my life! Adore animals with all my heart, especially dogs! Did not grow up with cats, but I do not shy away from giving them cuddles when given the chance. Love bunnies too! I'm also a rising junior in college working on personal projects and classes along with some free time on my hands, so availability for babysitting is fairly flexible during the week. A few hobbies of mine: going on road trips either with friends, trying out new places to eat, and thrifting. I'm always available for a video call so we can get to know each other and see whether we are a good fit for each other!

I am a nurse practitioner (current practice owner) who never had children of my own and have always wanted them. I have medical experience beginning at Children’s Hospital in DC on their behavioural psychiatry unit, my nursing internship was a Cambridge hospital on the pediatric behaviour program. After becoming an NP in 2005, I spent several summers as a camp nurse at the Barrie School in Silver Spring, MD. I have also worked with their 4 year olds for aftercare and substituted in the baby room when needed. My other experience includes being the lead NP at JHH on their Meyer 6 unit for 4 years and some time in the Anesthesia department. Working with children has been my most fulfilling work. My extensive care of children in various situations should make any parent feel confident in choosing me as a caregiver.

I have been a caregiver for all of my adult life. I am a physical therapist in a hospital for over 20 years. I work in the NICU, with infants and toddlers as outpatients, and with the inpatient geriatric population. Additionally, I am of mom of two. I have an 18 year old daughter and a 12 year old son. We also had an amazing dog named Henry for nearly 14 years, so I am comfortable with animals. I am good at adjusting to individual and family needs. I am looking to supplement my hospital job with something I enjoy and am comfortable doing.

I have worked with children and youth since high school. I had the desire to work with children and youth as an adult however I haven’t had the chance to really balance that with school and work. Now that I am older and have more availability I want to pursue my passion with working with children and youth. I have a degree in family and humanities and I am a veteran. Over the years I’ve always wanted to pursue having a daycare center or a family based childcare. I still have that passion so I am looking to build a trusted and useful community for those who need my services. I am looking to provide support to families who do not work the traditional 9 to 5 working hours. My services is available for those who work non-traditional hours. The evening/overnight shift and those who work various changing work schedules. I received my experience with working with children and youth through internships, community engagements, and helping family and friend when they need a babysitter.
