Hello! I am a mother first and foremost, my daughter is now a freshman in college, so I have lots of experience working with children. Years ago, I worked within MCPS in the Pre-School Education Program (provides special education services for ages 3-5). I am currently in school as well, taking online classes but have extra time to explore my passions; education, childcare, health, and nutrition. My daughter has had a severe nut allergy most of her life, so I am used to working with and around allergies. I love the outdoors and hiking, cooking and traveling.

I graduated with a Bachelor's of Arts in Psychology in 2016. I am very passionate about helping people improve their lives and hope to go back to school for social work or forensic psychology. I have 2 nephews and 1 niece that I watch for my older brother, and they are the light of my life! When I have them for extended periods of time I try to make a set schedule of activities to keep them busy and set meals. I also used to be a YMCA Summer Camp counselor in college work with children in kindergarten and enjoyed every minute of it! I am CPR certified! I like to play piano and I love love love podcasts! I’m 16 years older than my youngest siblings, so caring for kids has been a part of my life for as long as I can remember. Over the years, I’ve also cared for my coworkers’ little ones and even my elderly grandfather, which taught me patience, responsibility, and compassion. I currently serve on both the Kids Team and Youth Team at my church, working with children from just a few weeks old up to 17 years old. I truly love helping kids grow, learn, and feel seen.
