During college I worked as an occasional sitter for many different families in the D.C. area. I have been living in New York for about 5 years now and work full-time as a Copywriter at a creative agency, so I just take a few babysitting jobs each month on nights and weekend :) For five summers when I was 18-23, I worked as a counselor at Camp Onaway, a sleep-away camp for girls ages 8-15 in New Hampshire. After graduating from the University of Maryland in December 2016, I worked at a Swiss boarding school as a dorm counselor, Spanish Instructor, and as a ski instructor. In short, I LOVE hanging out with kids both younger and older! I have ample experience with newborns, infants, and toddlers, and I love kids of all ages and needs. I have babysat for children with special needs and behavioral differences, and I am always happy to accommodate any communication/behavioral/educational methods that your family prefers (though I do not have any specific certifications or training for different needs). I speak Russian and Spanish and I am happy to help children learning either language by simply speaking to them or working on certain vocabulary.
