Pema 1 review
$25 per hour for 1 child
Booked by 1 family in Brooklyn, NY

Hi, I am Pema! I have been working with children ages 4-11 for the past three summers at Tree Frog Treks, a science and nature focused summer camp in San Francisco. In my role as Naturalist, I led groups of children in full days of exploring, productive play, and hands-on inquiry-based learning about science and nature in Golden Gate Park and throughout the city. I recently earned my Bachelor's degree from Wesleyan University with high honors in Dance and Environmental Studies and I am excited for the opportunity to continue my passion for working with kids beyond the summer season. I am passionate about the environment and love engaging with kids outside. I also love anything creative, with a background in visual arts and musical theater, in addition to dance.

“Pema was punctual, friendly and a great sport playing with my toddler.”

Paige $25 per hour for 1 child
Booked by 1 family in Brooklyn, NY

Hi! I'm a nurse who's currently looking for intermittent baby-sitting for date nights, errands, emergencies, etc. I've been a NICU nurse for 4 years and prior to that was a full time nanny for 5 years. I also babysat throughout most of middle school, high school, and parts of college. Most of my recent experience is from newborn to three years of age, but I do have experience with older children as well. I love infants and toddlers because they have such wonder and awe for the world around them and it's a special experience to watch and engage with their development and growth. I'm gentle, engaging, empathetic, and sympathetic in my care and avoid screen time when with the children. I love taking children to parks, museums, play dates, etc., but also just as happy to play games and read stories at home. I won't be able to have regularly scheduled gigs as my work schedule changes week by week, but would love to find a family or families to develop a longer term baby-sitting relationship with, as I feel continuity is better for both the children and the carers. I am also BLS and NRP certified. Thanks!

Lucy $20 per hour for 1 child
Booked by 2 families in Brooklyn, NY

Hello! My name is Lucy, I am 22 years old and just graduated from Fordham University. I double majored in photography and minored in journalism. I put a great deal of care into what I do and want to make sure everybody is comfortable and shown respect. I'm experienced as both a babysitter and a pet sitter. I grew up taking care of my younger family members when needed and am confident in my skills as an attentive sitter. I'd often drive my kids to school and help them with their homework. I was always more than glad to do these activities and still have a knack for it! I also love dogs and cats! If you have any other pets I'm open to watching them too. Looking forward to meeting you and discussing your expectations.
