Artemis 3 reviews
$25 per hour for 1 child
Booked by 2 families in East Elmhurst, NY

Hi! I’m a college student in my junior year The New School in NYC studying Culture and Media Studies with a minor in Fashion Communications at Parsons. I’m responsible, friendly, patient, and dependable, and I genuinely enjoy spending time with kids. I’m comfortable helping with things like playtime, homework, meals and snacks, bedtime routines, and keeping kids entertained and engaged. I’m also happy to help with light household tasks, errands, pet care, and general tidying when needed. I’m organized, attentive, and easygoing, while still being responsible and able to follow a family’s routines and instructions. I have a busy school and internship schedule during the week, so I’m especially interested in part-time, occasional, date-night, Friday, and weekend opportunities that I can build a consistent relationship with a family through. I’d love to connect with families looking for someone reliable, caring, and flexible to help make their lives a little easier!

“Artemis helped us with a last minute babysitter scramble and was so lovely to have. She was early and eager to know all the details of the girls routine. Our daughters, 10 and 7.5, had a great time with Artemis and are already asking when she will be back. Highly recommend! ”

Booked by 10 families in East Elmhurst, NY

Hi, my name is Mashiyat and I have been working with kids since I was 16 and have always enjoyed it. I worked my summers in high school at a science and engineering camp where I was a counselor for ages 5-7. I became early education and care certified in college when I was a teaching assistant for the on campus daycare primarily as an infant/toddler daycare teacher. In addition to providing direct care for the babies in my classroom, I also have experience working with infants as a medical assistant for a pediatrician’s office and worked directly with families at a children’s hospital to enroll them into clinical trials. Although I have mostly worked with infants and toddlers, I also have experience with kids of all age groups from summer camp or other previous babysitting positions.

Hello Parents! Thank you for visiting my profile. My name is Amanda! I am a part time college student in my third year, studying animal science. As a New York Native I know how to navigate through the MTA system and the neighborhoods of each borough. I am CPR/First Aid Certified. I am currently available for part time work, occasional care, one time jobs, date nights, and holidays. One of my passions is caring for children, and animals. I have over 10 years of babysitter/nanny experience with children of all ages. Although, I’m pursing a degree in animal science, caring for children is something I’ll always continue to do. I love getting to know children, watching them grow, and supporting their important milestones. Along with my childcare experience, I have 9 years of experience working as a pet sitter. My dream is to open a pet care, and babysitting company. Why not both! I have been caring for children since the age of 12. I started babysitting my younger brother at a young age, as I grew older I transitioned into caring for my younger cousins, and working as a babysitter/nanny. In addition, I have experience caring for children with ADHD, ADD, & Anxiety. In the early summer of 2019 I worked for Camp Shiloh as a Camp Counselor in Training. I was a fellow camper myself there for several years, and I currently am a mentor under their youth program Hi-Def. A fun fact about me, I love Harry Potter, and comic books. Some of the fun things I love to do with children are making art, building blocks, engaging in activities around the city, read books, dancing, baking, playing board games, going to parks, sports, playing with toys & more. In my free time I like to swim, skateboard, listen to music, learn new things, write, and ground myself in nature. Children love me as their babysitter because I’m empathetic, open minded, committed, and pretty funny 😊 Booking Policies: - Due to safety reasons, after 10:30 pm I request a Uber/Lyft home - 3 hours minimum booking - In the event you come home early, I still require full payment. - If the job is cancelled within 48 hours, I require 50% of payment as a cancellation fee. Your child’s safety is my upmost importance, and of course having fun. I hope you as well as your loved ones are doing well, and staying safe during this transitional time. I look forward to hearing from you. References can be provided.

Booked by 16 families in East Elmhurst, NY

Hey Parents! My name is Arianny, I am 23 years old, born and raised in Brooklyn with strong Dominican roots. As the oldest of six siblings, caregiving became a natural responsibility early in my life and sparked my passion for working with children. Growing up in a big family taught me patience, leadership, and the importance of creating supportive, joyful spaces for young children to thrive. In my free time, I enjoy baking, a hobby that allows me to be creative and often becomes a fun, hands-on activity to share with kids. I am an accomplished childcare professional with over five years of comprehensive experience supporting the developmental, academic, and social-emotional needs of children ranging from infancy through school age. Currently, I serve as a paraprofessional and hold a bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Development — a discipline that underscores my enduring commitment to fostering growth, resilience, and curiosity in young learners. Fluent in both English and Spanish, I bring the added value of bilingual communication, enabling me to facilitate meaningful connections across diverse families and to integrate language enrichment into everyday learning experiences. My approach to childcare is guided by patience, intentionality, and a thorough understanding of developmental milestones. I am adept at cultivating safe, nurturing, and intellectually stimulating environments tailored to each child’s individual temperament and strengths. I am available for full time work, occasional babysitting, overnight assistance, as well as open weekend availability. Above all, I am committed to establishing collaborative, trusting partnerships with families to ensure that every child receives thoughtful, developmentally appropriate, and high-quality care. I welcome the opportunity to connect and to discuss how my expertise can best serve your family’s needs.

“Arianny is very kind and sweet, definately recommend her!”
