BOOKING POLICIES: If the booking starts later or ends earlier than expected, I still expect the payment for the original booking agreed. CANCELLATIONS: For cancellations with less than 48 hours notice, I require 50% of the original booking amount and for the ones with less than 24 hours notice, 100% of the original booking amount, which can be paid via Zelle or Venmo. Over the last four years I have began working in arts education as a teaching artist and youth theater director. I’m the 2nd oldest of 10 so I’ve been around young kids my entire life and am used to watching multiple kids at once. Due to being CPR and First Aid certified since I was 12, I’ve gained years of experience watching kids with varying disabilities and medical conditions, and am very familiar with working with children who are autistic, have epilepsy, or have life threatening food allergies. My go to activities are coloring, board games, going to the park, reading, movies, and arts and crafts. Outside of childcare, I am an actor, writer, and run an indie theater/production company. I’ve spent the pandemic studying trauma informed, consent based rehearsal spaces and mental health first aid. Both of these skills have been easily transferable to my childcare work. I have experience teaching at after school programs using the Montessori Method and have been working more as a teaching artist lately, doing theater and improv with kids. Cancellation policy: cancellation less than 24 hours my policy is full payment. If it’s within 72 hours, it’s half the agreed payment, and more than 72 there isn’t a fee. If you come home more than 15 minutes late with no communication I reserve the right to charge a late fee on top of that extra time. If you come home early I still charge for the full time booked since I had to block that time out in my calendar, unless we’ve agreed on it beforehand.

Hi guys, I have my BSN in nursing currently studying for my license. I have babysat for over 7 years personally but worked with kids for 9 years since I worked in summer camps. EXPERIENCES: I have worked in clinical settings with children such as pediatrics and NICU. But I also have experience with children with autism and ADHD for over 4 years. I used to babysit during college and always enjoyed it which is why I still occasionally enjoy picking up some gigs here or there :) I grew up in Germany with an American mother, a German father, and am the oldest of 4 siblings. I'm fluent in both German and English and have worked with bilingual kids in both a nanny and teaching environment. After graduating from HS in Germany and professionally working in the performing arts growing up, I was interested in working socially with families and kids who were less fortunate/had special needs. In the summer of 2015, I started an art+living project in Germany with kids and families who had fled their countries.
