I am CPR and First Aid certified (willing to provide proof) and have 16 years of experience with all ages from newborns to teenagers. I always decide and adapt the activities I do with them according to their age and interests, but some of my favorite things to do with the kids are: - Teaching them Spanish - Spending time outdoors at parks or playgrounds - Drawing, crafting, and reading - Building legos, blocks, or puzzles - Baking and cooking IMPORTANT: - I was a preemie baby and I catch viruses and colds easily, so I cannot babysit sick babies/kids. BOOKING POLICIES: If the booking starts later or ends earlier than expected, I still expect the payment for the original booking agreed. CANCELLATIONS: For cancellations with less than 48 hours notice, I require 50% of the original booking amount and for the ones with less than 24 hours notice, 100% of the original booking amount, which can be paid via Zelle or Venmo. I grew up in a small town in Missouri and attended the University of Missouri-Columbia. I graduated with a degree in Theatre. I am the oldest in my family and took care of my younger brothers, as well as younger cousins, growing up. From age 13 through high school, I babysat for a local family who had six kids all between the ages of 7 and newborn. I taught dance through high school and my first two years of college. I taught 3-5 year olds as well as pre-teens and teenagers. I am happy to help with homework and projects or anything else they may need!

I’ve received in person guided and hands on training/instruction and certification in both adult and infant First Aid and CPR. I’m the middle child of three children, and one of 22 grandchildren in my family so I am very accustomed to being surrounded by young children running around! My mother has worked as an early childhood educator/administrator my entire life. Many of the tactics she utilized in her classroom were the same ones she used raising my siblings and I. I’ve learned much of what I use in childcare from her, including helping the young ones with their coursework! For any reason a booking gets cancelled or you come home early I still charge for the entire time. I also require cab fare back home once a booking ends after 11:00pm.
