Hi! My name is Leysha, and I’m currently taking a gap year while pursuing opportunities in childcare. As the oldest sibling in a single-parent household, I’ve gained lots of hands-on experience caring for children, helping with everyday routines, and making sure they feel safe, comfortable, and cared for. I’m comfortable preparing simple meals, helping with light household tasks, school pick-ups, and keeping kids entertained and engaged. I also love animals and have experience caring for both cats and dogs. I’m patient, responsible, dependable, and have a flexible schedule. I’d love the opportunity to connect with your family and provide reliable, caring support whenever needed!
Hi! My name is Cindy, and I am a dedicated and nurturing sitter with over 8 years of experience caring for children of various ages. I have a passion for creating a safe and engaging environment where kids can thrive while having fun. My experience ranges from babysitting toddlers to helping with homework for school-age children. I'm excited to bring my enthusiasm and care to your family!
Hello! I’m Isabella and I am new to the city! I was born and raised in Venice Beach, CA. I moved to New York to be closer to my family who live on the east coast and to live with my best friend who will be attending graduate school at Columbia! I studied Psychology at UC Santa Cruz where I focused on childhood and adolescent development. Throughout college I was a nanny and worked at a local preschool where I was able to conduct my senior research project on emotional regulation in preschool aged children. I formed strong and lasting relationships with the families I worked with and stay in contact to this day. Many families I worked with prioritized Montessori schooling methods, so I am familiar with that style of learning. My first year out of college, I worked as a Teacher’s Aide at a school for special needs children. I worked with children ages 7-14 who had varying IEP’s for things like autism, dyslexia, and ADHD, among others. I was trained in CPI (Crisis Prevention Intervention) methods to de-escalate high-stress situations. I am a highly patient, playful, and responsible person, and I take pride in working with families and children. In the next couple of years, I would like to go back to school for a Master's in Marriage & Family Therapy, as I am interested in relationship dynamics and communication strategies. In my free time, I love to be active and outside! I’ve played volleyball my whole life, so I am eager to find a rec league in the city so I can play. I also love to travel and am lucky that my family prioritized this growing up, so I’ve been lucky to travel with them! My experience as a nanny has varied depending on each family’s needs, but I am familiar with school pickup/drop-off, snack and meal planning, homework help, bed/bath time, and planning daily activities. I have experience and am comfortable with overnights after getting to know the family and their children, as well as traveling as needed. I look forward to connecting and seeing if we would be a good fit:)
Hello! My name is Zara and I’m a responsible, caring, and energetic person who truly enjoys working with children. I have experience caring for kids of all ages from infants to middle schoolers and I always make sure each child feels safe, supported, and engaged. I’m currently a college student pursuing a degree Services I offer: babysitting, homework help light meal prep, and organizing fun, educational activities. I can also help with light household tasks if needed. Experience: I’ve cared for toddlers, preschoolers, and elementary-aged children through both family and volunteer settings. I enjoy creative play, reading time, arts and crafts, outdoor activities, and helping kids learn new skills. Special skills: I’m great at creating learning games, helping with homework, and encouraging positive routines. I also enjoy cooking healthy snacks and doing simple crafts or outdoor play that keep children active and happy. I love making a positive impact on children’s lives and giving parents peace of mind knowing their kids are in good hands!
Hi! My name is Ariana and I’m a responsible and energetic caregiver with years of hands-on experience working with kids in a variety of settings. I’ve spent summers at a relaxed arts and crafts camp for children ages 7–13, leading creative projects, outdoor games, and group activities. I’ve also coached youth soccer for kids ages 3–12, focusing on teamwork, fun, and skill-building. During high school, I worked as a certified lifeguard for four years, which taught me strong safety awareness and emergency readiness — qualities I bring to every caregiving role. In addition to my professional experience, I’ve regularly cared for younger family members and love connecting with kids through creativity, sports, and play. I’m currently finishing my degree at Barnard College of Columbia University, where I’ve continued to nurture my love for learning and teaching. Whether it’s helping with homework, organizing fun activities, or just being a calm and supportive presence, I aim to make kids feel safe, seen, and engaged. Above all, I strive to be as helpful as possible to the families I work with. I’m dependable, patient, and always ready to support in whatever way I can.

"Caitlin was awesome and jumped right in to chaperone four girls (10, 9, 8 and 6) at a family wedding (they were bridesmaids) and she was very helpful with the event as well as taking them home and putting them to bed."

"McKenna was great with our 3 year old son! She came prepared with a box of fun activities and handled playing, dinner, and bedtime seamlessly... and it was all at our hotel while we were in town for a wedding. Thank you McKenna!"
