Hi! My name is Allison, and I’m currently offering childcare, pet care, and household services. I live in Cobble Hill and have been babysitting in Brooklyn through word of mouth since 2023. Over the years, I’ve built a network of 25+ families that I’ve babysat for, caring for children of all different ages and needs. I’m also happy to help with last-minute childcare requests whenever my schedule allows! I genuinely love spending time with kids and enjoy keeping them engaged with crafts, playing outside, trips to the park, reading, games, and helping with homework. I’m comfortable jumping into a family’s routine and am happy to help with whatever makes your day a little easier. I’m also available for household services, including laundry, cooking, light cleaning, organizing, and running errands. I’m a pet lover as well and am happy to care for dogs and cats. I have experience with both and would be happy to help care for your pets! I’m reliable, flexible, and happy to be a helping hand for your family, whether you need an occasional date-night sitter, or someone to step in for a last-minute request.

Hello! My name is Bri and I recently moved to NYC from San Francisco. I currently live in the NoHo neighborhood and work remotely full time as a Community Manager. I have been an active nanny all throughout my college years and beyond and really do miss nannying both part time and full time. I do like to babysit occasionally and it gives me the opportunity to explore different parts of this amazing city. During college, I was nannying for a couple different families that were consistent over a long period of time. A few standout experiences were working for a family for 5 months where I worked 37 hours a week in three days watching an adorable 2-year-old boy. My duties included everything from taking him to swim class, feeding him breakfast, lunch and dinner and scheduling fun events to take him to and explore the city! Throughout my college years, I babysat part time between classes for an amazing family of 5 for four years and still to this day, I babysit for them occasionally. My job entailed me to do homework, cook, clean, bedtime routine, drive to after school activities, attend appointments, schedule events, make lunches and over-see playdates for the three kids age ranging from 5 to 11 years old. I have two younger siblings so I have basically been babysitting and interacting with kids my entire life. I have always been known as the babysitter on the block and have loved watching kids. Now the tables have turned and some of my friends are starting to have kids and it’s definitely a fun stage in life. If you feel like I am a perfect fit, please reach out to me through Urbansitter. Thanks so much and I hope to hear from you soon!

“Bri was great! She immediately started interacting with our son and by the time we left he had warmed up to her and was happily eating dinner with her. He had a cough so she gave him cough medicine like we asked and was great when he woke up after going to bed. We’ll definitely hire her again. ”

Hi! I’m Laura, a Hunter College student double-majoring in Studio Art and Early Childhood Education, with 5+ years of experience caring for children ages 2–7. I’m passionate about creating warm, safe spaces where kids feel free to explore, express themselves, and grow. I love incorporating art and crafts into our time together and making learning feel like play! Summer availability: I’m available mornings through 2pm, with afternoon availability opening up July 6–26. Looking forward to connecting!

“Laura is an outstanding nanny/babysitter. Professional, punctual, adaptable, and above all very playful. She looked after our highly energetic and at some times very demanding 4 year old at a moment's notice and immediately was able to take him out for a day on the town without any time to acclimate. Played very well with our son who often requires non-stop action and attention. Very impressed how quickly Laura adapted to the situation with little preparation and hosted an amazing day for our child!”

Booked by 7 families in New York, NY

Hi! My name is Tess and I am a student at Fordham University. I am offering babysitting, pet care and household chore services. I have been a babysitter since I was twelve, starting as a mother's helper and onwards from there. My responsibilities included driving to and from school, helping with homework, sports and activites, putting the kiddos to bed, and overall general home care. I have worked with ages 1-14, as a babysitter, camp counselor and nanny. As a sociology major, I hope to start a career in early education! I am happy to help with any animals, as a cat and dog lover myself. I'm currently working with a range of ages, from 1-14 but am happy to help with younger or older.

“We are so happy we found Tess, she inspired confidence from our first interview. I was nervous about finding a sitter for my 10 month old but now I look forward to her playtime with Tess while I’m in class. She’s been super punctual, flexible, and professional- best of all she seems to click with our baby, who is always happy at pick up time! ”
