Hello! I am currently a full-time therapist and per diem family support specialist. I am looking to earn extra income to help with my student loans. I have many years of experience with and a passion for helping children of all ages and developmental stages. I can provide child, senior, and pet care. I have been a babysitter for over 12 years, starting when I was in early high school. Additionally, I was a camp counselor for four years (children from 1st grade to juniors in high school), a YMCA afterschool counselor for one year (for 26 pre-K and 1st graders), and a teacher's aide (for 3 pre-K classes) for one year. I have worked with children from pre-K to high school. I have experience working with children and teens who have intellectual and developmental disabilities, existing on a range of verbal and nonverbal capacities, as well as children in foster care. I also helped care for seniors with chronic health conditions for a year too. I have provided these populations a range of services, including but not limited to safe supervised play, arts and crafts, tutoring, prepared snacks, and social skills. I was an executive assistant for a year so I can help with any administrative assistance. I can also help with household chores, errands, grocery shopping. I have been a pet (both dogs and cats) sitter, boarder, and walker for five years. I walked (two times per week for an hour), sat, and boarded one dog specifically regularly for one year. Overall, I have a passion, experience, and the care for working with children, seniors, and pets of all ages. I am kind, fun, detailed, and genuine.

Im mostly around kids ages 5-11, My favorite activities to do with kids are playing games ( UNO, connect four, mancala), doing arts and crafts, and reading. Hello, my name is Leesie! I’m currently a student attending St. John’s University pursuing my undergrad in health & human services. After college I plan to work with children with special needs - my inspiration for this is my dear brother Lincoln whom has autism. He’s my super star and I’ve helped my mom raise him up since I was 10 until leaving home to pursue my education. I hope to be able to help families out there that need assistance with their children from a wide range of ages; struggling work and home life which I know can be super stressful. My interests are out door activities, painting, sports and reading. I have no problem with cleaning after kids/ keeping things tidy also helping with homework if needed… however if you require me to cook I am working on my skills but I’d say I have a moderate ability to do so as a young adult and open to learning more through out this experience.
