Growing up, I was always helping care for my younger siblings and cousins, and I’ve been working professionally with children since I was 15, giving me 9 years of childcare experience. I’m currently a lead preschool teacher, where I work with children every day to support their learning, development, and social-emotional growth. Hello! I have been working with children for over 15 years! My first job in high school was as a nanny and tutor, and I then went on to be an instructor and program director on Catalina Island. Here instructed kids from 3rd grade - 12th grade in Biology and History in accordance with the California State Curriculum. Afterwards I got my degree in Teaching and History from Azusa Pacific University where I logged over 200 hours of in-class experience. After college I worked as a nanny and tutor in California, Madrid, London, and Australia for children aged 0 - 21 (with special needs). I have experience working with families of all different backgrounds and languages, as well as tutoring kids with learning disabilities and special needs (specifically Autism and Dyslexia). I am very active and like to take kids on walks, to the zoo, to the park, and play lots of games. Hello everyone! My name is Julia and I’m recent graduate from Oregon State University. I’m offering childcare services, household services, and pet care services. I have childcare experience with multiple-child families, ages 2-12. I’m able to run errands, grocery shop, clean, make meals and snacks, and laundry if requested. For pet care, I have experience with both cats and dogs. I have a cat of my own so I’m well-versed in playing, changing litter, and on-time feeding. You can take bark, leaves, sticks and twigs, moss, and anything else you can find outside (+ hot glue) and make something magical.
