I’ve worked in daycares, preschools, kindergarten classrooms and have been a nanny for 3 years now! I am CPR and first aide certified, have taken safe sleep trainings, took many college courses on early childhood development and education and many other trainings throughout my years of working with kiddos. I love to be very creative and active when it comes to working with kids and spend all the time I can outside. Hello! I have been working with children for over 15 years! My first job in high school was as a nanny and tutor, and I then went on to be an instructor and program director on Catalina Island. Here instructed kids from 3rd grade - 12th grade in Biology and History in accordance with the California State Curriculum. Afterwards I got my degree in Teaching and History from Azusa Pacific University where I logged over 200 hours of in-class experience. After college I worked as a nanny and tutor in California, Madrid, London, and Australia for children aged 0 - 21 (with special needs). I have experience working with families of all different backgrounds and languages, as well as tutoring kids with learning disabilities and special needs (specifically Autism and Dyslexia). I am very active and like to take kids on walks, to the zoo, to the park, and play lots of games. I value structure and a routine to help the children get everything they need throughout the day from learning to play to nap times.
