Caring for others has been a natural part of my life for as long as I can remember. As the oldest of three siblings, I learned early on how to nurture, support, and create a sense of safety for them. That instinct only deepened as I raised my two daughters, help care for my three grandsons, and spend over eight years working in a childcare environment. Several families have personally entrusted me with their child outside the childcare environment. I am currently a preschool teacher, and I truly enjoy going to work each day. Supporting children as they learn, grow, and express themselves is something I genuinely love. I have also had the privilege of caring for my mother during her journey with early-onset Alzheimer’s. That experience strengthened my patience, compassion, and ability to show up with steadiness during difficult seasons. Whether caring for children, seniors, or pets (I’ve never met one I didn’t connect with)! I bring warmth, reliability, and heartfelt attention to every family I work with. I would be honored to provide thoughtful, personal care whenever it’s needed.
“We feel incredibly grateful to have Evelyn in our lives. We first connected through our daughters, my 3yr old attends the Montessori school where Evelyn’s daughter is a teacher, and she is Maeve’s favorite! Seeing the love, presence, and care her daughter brought to everyone in the school made it easy for us to trust Evelyn from the beginning. I mean, she raised such a human! lol And…like mother, like daughter. Evelyn is kind, patient, communicative, dependable, and often available on short notice (which has helped us out tremendously!) She has been caring for Maeve on occasional nights and weekends for about a year now, and we truly love and trust her completely. We’ve only had positive experiences, and any family would be lucky to have her.”
Hello, my name is Cinthia! I am currently a Ph.D. student in School Psychology at the University of Texas at Austin. I have a Masters degree in School Psychology from UT and a Bachelors of Arts in Psychology with minors in Education Studies and Applied Developmental Psychology from UCLA. I worked at a childcare center at UCLA with infants and toddlers for 3 years. I currently work at a community mental health clinic providing therapy to children, teens, and families. I also provide services as several elementary schools and community organizations around Austin. I love interacting, working and learning from children of all ages. I operate on the philosophy that children are all active agents of their own learning and a caregivers' role is to foster, scaffold, and facilitate their experiences, especially through play and fun activities.
I began my 'nanny' career 25 years ago when I decided to become a massage therapist. As an artist, I knew I needed to supplement my income, but I had no idea how fulfilling it would be to share the awe and wonder of the world with children. Today I consider the responsibility of caring for someone (critters, elderly folk, children) to be a privilege. I have had the pleasure of serving 5 families throughout my nanny career. The 1st child is in law school at Stanford, and the most recent youngster is 11. (I became his nanny when he was born and the work sustained me while I finished my masters degree in Chaplaincy). I served one year as Chaplain at Seton Hospital, and another year working for Hospice Austin. My little buddy still has monthly sleepovers due to our 11 year friendship, and has become my Godson. My interests today include painting, singing, gardening, yoga, long hikes, travel, cooking healthy meals, and a daily spiritual practice to keep gratitude first and foremost in my life. I am certified in CPR, and have completed three years of American Sign Language at ACC. (certified). Volunteer work with Hospice Austin brought me to the awareness of how precious life is and the importance of practicing being mindful and present with the life of another. Little people ( and big peeps too), deserve to feel safe, be listened to and have their emotional and physical needs met. I am a non smoker, non drinker, non TV watcher. I am dependable, and honest. I do not use my phone in the presence of children, unless looking up GPS for the nearest park, or treasure hunt! How am I with little ones? I have been called 'I love Lucy' due to my sense of humor, and one mom has referred to me as a cross between 'Maria' in the Sound of Music and Mary Poppins. I enjoy sharing art projects, experiments in the kitchen, reading, making up plays, playing instruments, cooking, and lots of time outdoors exploring trees, bugs, and bike rides.
Hi there! I’m a Texas A&M graduate and Austin native with over 15 years of experience caring for children from newborns to age 12+. I previously worked as a medical assistant at Dell Children’s Hospital for four years, and for the past two years I’ve been a full-time nanny for two wonderful children, ages 1 and 2. As they transition into a school program, I am now seeking new opportunities to continue working with children. I have my own car with a clean driving record, am CPR certified, and am happy to help with meal/snack preparation as well as light housekeeping to support your family. I’d also be glad to provide references upon request. I look forward to connecting!
I have more than 20 years of experience supporting private families as an enrichment nanny, house manager, family assistant, private chef, wellness specialist, and caregiver. My approach is warm, highly attentive, creative, organized, and deeply individualized. I’m often described as a calming presence who brings more ease, beauty, nourishment, play, and connection into a home. My childcare experience spans newborns through teenagers, including caring for multiple children and large families. I’ve cared for five infants simultaneously in a private daycare, supported a six-child household as a live-in nanny, cared for a baby from two to seven months, and mentored teens through challenging life transitions. I especially enjoy supporting neurodivergent and highly sensitive children. I bring an unusually broad enrichment background to childcare. Depending on a child’s age and interests, our days might include storytelling, reading, music, singing, creative arts, nature exploration, cooking, comedy improv, yoga, meditation, Qi Gong, gentle martial arts, movement, emotional-intelligence games, life skills, and plenty of imaginative play. I emphasize confidence, curiosity, emotional regulation, respectful communication, healthy boundaries, resilience, and helping each child feel genuinely seen and understood. I also have extensive household-management experience, including organizing closets, drawers and pantries; creating household systems; scheduling; family logistics; grocery shopping; stocking; laundry; packing; travel planning; inventory management; decluttering; toy rotation; pet care; and maintaining peaceful, functional homes. I’m comfortable with live-in, live-out, rotational, overnight, travel, and estate environments. As a gourmet longevity chef and wellness professional, I prepare beautiful, nutrient-dense meals and have experience with Ayurveda, longevity nutrition, wellness routines, yoga, mindfulness, bodywork, and lymphatic practices. My caregiving experience also extends to older adults and individuals navigating illness, recovery, disability, major surgery, Parkinson’s disease, and end-of-life transitions. These experiences have strengthened my discretion, adaptability, emotional intelligence, judgment, and ability to remain steady during tender or complex circumstances. Ultimately, I see my role as helping the entire household thrive: children feel safe, loved and engaged; parents feel genuinely supported; and the home becomes calmer, he

"Caitlin was awesome and jumped right in to chaperone four girls (10, 9, 8 and 6) at a family wedding (they were bridesmaids) and she was very helpful with the event as well as taking them home and putting them to bed."

"McKenna was great with our 3 year old son! She came prepared with a box of fun activities and handled playing, dinner, and bedtime seamlessly... and it was all at our hotel while we were in town for a wedding. Thank you McKenna!"
