The activities can vary depending on the child’s interests and passions. Some children love reading sessions, while others prefer singing, coloring, and drawing with music on, or simply playing board games like puzzles and interactive Lego construction games! Exploring the outdoors is also a fun activity to do if interested! I can help with homework and tutoring in various subjects, including English, Math, STEM subjects, and many others. Hello! My name is Rumana, and I'm a recent graduate from UW Seattle. I’m currently studying for the MCAT and babysitting on the side, so my schedule is pretty flexible between the two! I am located in Seattle and can conveniently get to anywhere close by, such as Capitol Hill, but also have a car and can travel farther (as far as Bellevue, Redmond, Renton, etc.) if needed. I love kids and hope to become a pediatrician one day! To me, working with children is incredibly fun and exciting—I love to engage their curiosity and sense of play as a babysitter and help them learn how to be respectful and kind as peers at the same time. I have experience working with kids of all ages, particularly between infants to around 11 years old. When babysitting, I typically help kids read books, play lots of games, as well as do arts and crafts if available in order to stimulate their imagination and creativity. I am happy to help with homework, light housekeeping, and any other responsibilities you might need me to do. I babysat all throughout undergrad, amounting to 4 years of experience doing paid babysitting, and spent an initial 2 years working for a family with three talkative and active kids aged 1, 3, and 5. Afterwards, I began babysitting for many different families independently for an additional 2 years, and am super adaptable to a variety of kids! In terms of availability, I am typically available in the evenings on weekdays and all day on weekends, but again, I can be flexible if needed! Parenting is hard; the most fulfilling aspect of babysitting to me is helping your family maintain balance within your lives amidst busy schedules, and I sincerely hope to use my experience working with kids in my future career!

Hello! I’m Ta’Ja (Tay-Juh) I am currently working a full time job during the week (Mon-Fri) but I become available after 7pm to do evening care to 11pm! Weekends are more flexible for me! I am currently offering child care and pet care! I love working with kids/youth! I’ve been volunteering and working with kids/youth since my sophomore yeah in high school! From being an assistant soccer coach for 1st -5th graders, volunteering at my mom’s home daycare, helping out with afterschool programs through my middle school (event help,plays, ect), working with kiddos in retail, and now working with youth in a before and afterschool setting for now 2 years! My responsibilities have included helping with various arts and crafts, school/homework help, make/prepare small snacks, and other fun activities. I can do light household services! (Can be discussed in advance) I currently do not drive but I know my way around the city and bus routes! Pet Care: I am not very fond of cats.
