After-School Childcare Help Wanted - Cambridge, MA Start date: ASAP (September start preferred) Hours: 3:00 - 5:00pm, 1-3 days/week (Monday, Wednesday, and/or Friday - flexible based on your schedule and ours) Pay: $30 Location: Cambridge, MA About the family We're looking for a warm, patient, reliable caregiver for our three kids (ages 7, 5, 4) a few afternoons a week. Most days it's 1-2 kids at home while the others are at activities, so it's rarely all three at once. We're flexible and happy to adjust the schedule each semester based on your availability and ours. What you'd do - Hang out, play, and provide supervision from 3-5pm - Help with homework if needed - Occasional light snack prep - Support kids through typical after-school transitions and downtime Who we're looking for - Grad student (or similar) - ideally studying social work, occupational therapy, education, speech-language pathology, or a related field - Experience with or genuine openness to learning about neurodivergence, ADHD, trauma, and/or adoption - some of our kids have overlapping needs in these areas - Reliable, warm, and comfortable with kids who may need extra patience or structure at times - Prior childcare experience preferred To apply Please reach out with a bit about your background and experience with kids - especially any experience with neurodivergent or trauma-affected children to [removed].
