About this babysitting job

My family is looking for a mature, patient, dependable, and loving caregiver for PRN/as-needed childcare for my two children. My son is five years old and autistic. He is a very smart and loving little boy, but he does require hands-on assistance with his daily needs. He needs help with dressing, preparing meals, and toileting. He can use the bathroom at times, but he may have occasional accidents and will need assistance with changing and cleaning up when this happens. The biggest thing with my son is patience and being mindful of your tone. He responds very well to someone who speaks to him calmly, respectfully, and gives him time to understand what is being asked of him. Once he becomes comfortable with you, he will take to you. I also have a sweet three-year-old little girl, who has her own special little personality. She is active, playful, and curious, like most three-year-olds. I’m looking for someone who will be attentive and caring with both of my children and who understands that every child is different. Most importantly, I want someone they can become comfortable with and who I can trust to care for them when I need PRN help.
