About this babysitting job

We’re looking for a sitter to help with our two sons, ages 8 and 12, on Saturday afternoon. They’re both very easygoing, nice kids, and this should be a pretty relaxed afternoon. Our 12-year-old is very independent and will likely need minimal help. He’ll usually be playing Xbox, iPad or using his Meta Quest, and if you’re willing to join in on an Xbox game or watch what he’s doing in VR, he always appreciates an audience! Our 8-year-old will be the primary focus. He loves watching semi-scary movies, playing games on his iPad, playing board games, and building with Legos. He’s pretty easy to entertain and is generally happy hanging out at home. We don’t have restrictions on screen time. My wife and I will also be in and out during the afternoon, and since this would be your first time sitting for us, we’ll make sure we’re nearby and available if you have any questions or need anything. We’ll order dinner in, usually pizza, and you’re absolutely welcome to have some as well. We’re happy to pay through Venmo or the UrbanSitter app. We live near Verde’s restaurant in the Bee Cave area and would ideally like to find someone who lives reasonably close by so it isn’t a long drive. Mostly, we’re looking for someone friendly, dependable, and comfortable hanging out with two pretty self-sufficient kids for the afternoon.
