Family needs a part time caretaker starting Tuesday, Oct 6 in Point Loma - $23/hr

About this nanny job

Looking for someone to take care of my 21 month old son while I work Tuesdays and Fridays 8:45a-2:45p. Duties include engaging with age-appropriate play, changing his diaper as necessary although I plan to potty train soon, feeding him, and taking him on outings as seen fit. I sometimes work at home but mostly am out of the house. He is lively, intelligent, and a little sweetie. He follows instructions quite well for a child his age. He loves to stay busy but can be as simple as going for a walk and finding flowers and rocks. He loves to play with anything that has an engine or wheels and enjoys music and dancing. On Wednesdays (3-4 hours flexible timing) it would be for both children (4 y/old and 21 mo/old) when their grandmother cannot take them a pay would increase and you would have advanced notice if you are needed or not. If you are interested in supplementing the hours to another day or doing longer days on Tuesdays and Fridays that is something I am open to. Please note I am a single mother and really looking for someone who is caring, attentive, and reliable. I'm also a doula and sometimes have an unpredictable schedule while I'm on-call and can discuss this during our interview. I typically pay in cash, Venmo, or Zelle.
