Part-Time Nanny Needed | SW Portland | 4 Days/Week We’re looking for a warm, reliable, and nurturing nanny to join our family for 20 hours per week, 4 days a week, ideally Monday–Thursday, 5 hours per day. We have two children, but care will primarily be for our 8-month-old daughter during the day while our 6-year-old is at school. We’re looking for someone who genuinely enjoys caring for babies and is comfortable with a responsive, play-based approach. Our baby is breastfed, but she happily takes expressed milk from a straw cup, so bottles aren’t necessary. Her main nap routine currently involves being rocked to sleep, so we’re looking for someone who is comfortable with lots of cuddles and contact rather than expecting independent sleep. Typical responsibilities would include: * Caring for our baby and keeping her engaged with age-appropriate play * Rocking her for naps and helping with her nap routine * Offering breast milk in her straw cup * Preparing/serving simple baby meals as needed * Baby-related tidying and cleanup * Taking her on walks or to nearby activities when appropriate We have a friendly dog and a cat, so you’ll need to be comfortable around pets. Care will take place primarily in our home. Schedule: Monday–Thursday, approximately 5 hours/day (20 hours/week). Once a month, the Wednesday shift will end at noon due to our family schedule. We’re hoping to find someone who is dependable, kind, patient, and interested in becoming a familiar and trusted person in our baby’s life.
