About this nanny job
My husband and I are looking for a reliable, consistent caregiver for our two energetic boys (5 and 9) to help cover busy work schedules, events, and occasional travel. SCHEDULE & HOURS: - Total Hours: ~10–20 hours/week (starting on the lower end and ramping up). - Weekdays: 2–3 evenings/week. Typical core timeframe is 4:00/5:00 PM to 7:00/8:00 PM. On rare occasions when we have late events, care may extend to 10:00 or 11:00 PM. - Weekends: 1 or both days for daytime coverage/outings or date nights/days. - Flexibility: We will establish a standard weekly routine, but exact days/shifts may vary slightly due to sports schedules. We will communicate ahead of time each week to confirm the schedule. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES & ACTIVITIES: - Pickup: Collect both boys from their school (<1 mile from our house) between 4:00–5:00 PM. - Routines: Assist with homework completion and bedtime prep (bathing/bedtime routine primarily for the 5-year-old; 9-year-old is self-sufficient). - Activities: Supervise free time at home (LEGOs, toys, backyard play, TV/video games). On weekends or down the road, this may include local outings (playground, museum) or drop-offs at sports practices (e.g., soccer). - Meals: Feed the boys dinner/lunch (meals/food provided for both kids and caregiver).
