About this babysitting job

This is our first time hiring a sitter, and we are looking for someone wonderful to potentially establish a regular, ongoing relationship with for future care! We need help with our happy 7-month-old boy from 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM. I (dad) work from home and will be on-site the entire time, but I need dedicated care so I can focus on my work day. Schedule & Meals: - Paid Lunch Break: You'll have a paid hour off from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM while I take over. - Lunch Provided: I'm happy to order lunch for you, or give you cash to grab something nearby (we're 1 mile from downtown Fairfax and the grocery store). - Feeding: He needs several bottles throughout the day, plus one morning feeding of oatmeal/cereal. Nap Routine & Gear: He takes a couple of naps during this shift. We are still figuring out his nap routine, so he primarily contact-naps right now. We provide the baby carrier and absolutely everything else he needs. Since he likes to sleep on you, you'll have plenty of downtime to sit back, read, or use your phone while he rests. Important Note: Since this is his first time with a sitter, he may be a bit fussy or take some time to warm up to a new person. Experience with infant transitions is a huge plus! Payment Note: I need a record of payment for company reimbursement, but I am completely flexible on how we handle it. We can process the payment via credit card directly through UrbanSitter, or I am happy to use Venmo or Zelle.
