Family needs a full time caretaker starting Wednesday, Oct 14 in Scyene

Hi everyone! I recently relocated to the DFW area and was offered a early morning position with a company in Irving. My projected start date is mid-October, and I’m looking for a reliable, long-term nanny/babysitter to help with my 6-year-old daughter Monday–Friday. My new job starts at 5:00 AM, so I would need someone who is comfortable coming to our home near the Mesquite area around 4:00 AM. I would leave for work around 4:15–4:20 AM, and her school drop-off is at 7:30 AM. The morning would mainly consist of being with her while she gets ready, making sure she has everything she needs, and then safely getting her to school by 7:30 AM.I’m also open to someone who already has children of their own and regularly does a morning school drop-off in the same general area. If the school routes line up, I’d be happy to discuss an arrangement that works well with your existing morning routine. I think this could be a great fit for a mom who is already doing a similar school run. She attends an after-school program that ends at 6:00 PM. I expect to be able to pick her up myself most days, but because my work is “until finished,” there may be days when I run late. On those days, I would need help picking her up from after-care and staying with her until I get home. You will always be paid for every hour you are caring for her. This is primarily a Monday–Friday position. Occasionally, if my job requires me to work a weekend day and you’re available, I may need weekend coverage as well, but weekends would not be part of the normal schedule. I’m looking for someone who wants a long-term, consistent position and who I can trust to be dependable and show up on time. Since I’ll be relying on this person for my daughter’s school drop-off, reliability is extremely important to me. Pay: $20–$25/hour depending on experience and qualifications. I’m open to discussing the rate with the right person. Gas reimbursement will also be provided for school-related driving. Ideally: • Dependable transportation/clean driving record • Comfortable driving to and from school • Experience with school-age children • Comfortable with a 4 AM start • Childcare experience/references • CPR/First Aid is a plus.
